I think I can help you out here...  It means that... Tail Spin will not open today... Buzzsaw will not open until next Monday... Escape from Madagascar will not open until the following

  • Sidewiener? Not sure this is what they meant by use your imagination.

  • You've lost the plot... having a bad week?? It was closed, and they were working on it. That is maintenance.  I don't really understand why you've targeted me given the complete dribble post

True I suppose the Sound Stages are closer to the new Hyper Coaster. Does anyone know when Aqua man finishes filming?

99.99% certain that it's been confirmed multiple times that the studios are fully booked for the remainder of 2017 and into 2018.

The wipeout though, OCTOBER!! Holy crap that's ages. I am so pleased however that it will reopen.

Hopefully they will post something in regards to the Log ride soon.

What's with those random closing dates though. Like wipeout 22nd June closed. haha.

Sale for the Vintage Cars, looking forward to seeing what they've done to make it provide an exciting new experience.

Yeah, they will add some awesome harnesses and soft mats around the track in case we fall. A very exciting new experience I bet it will be.

What is ages is that Wipeout has been closed since March. But it's nice to actually have an opening date.

Same for the Vintage Cars, looking forward to seeing what they've done to make it provide an exciting new experience.

Did the Wipeout ever fully operate since last year.  Didn't it open for only 2 weeks and close again?

It operated for two weeks (Around the same amount of time as the vintage cars operated back in December) in mid March after reopening from its audit, but it was always scheduled for maintenance anyways, but was originally planned to reopen at the end of April. Then kept getting its date pushed back, until the date was removed all together.

^yeah, and?

Only in the last week, we've discussed that Wipeout opened briefly post-safety-audit, before closing again for maintenance.

@Skeeta doesn't call two weeks 'open' but it was open. so all 9 of their big 9 have reopened since the audit - the message they're sending is that none of them are still closed 'pending a safety audit issue'.

the fact that wipeout is in more pieces than a superman train during maintenance (pause, you'll get it) is beside the point, it's not "still closed due to failure to pass safety inspection" - the video message is "the ride is safe".

The series of events that led to the ride's delayed reopening and its almost immediately closure for maintenance are dubious at best. This is the same park that hosts a free (for pass holders) Wiggles concert, and then boasts about how well the recovery is going based on an attendance increase that saw no corresponding revenue uptick .

Appearances are everything, and it's abundantly clear that the overarching business strategy is to create the appearance of a thriving theme park

I have an issue with it, you don't promote something at a time when guests can't experience it. Not everyone is savvy enough to jump on the maintenance page to check that the things they're promoting are actually open.
