Movie World November 2017 Improvements

It doesn't look tired or worn to me. They did some minor work a couple of years ago which added the sceens at the front of each ticket booth, and very recently they've removed all the turnstiles.

I don't really think there's anything much else needed at the entrance,  and as has been said already it's much better than the entrances to any of the other parks.

I am dumb, so I await correction by someone wise!

  • We've been calling for it for a long time, I'm delighted with the changes.  It will price out the people who don't spend money anyway so the parks won't be so busy, and for those that do pay they get

I think the roof was a great idea, just poorly executed. The columns weren't placed well down Main Street, and should've been installed behind the facades. That would've kept the magic there, and stil

  • Amazing news. A theme park that listens to guest feedback and does everything possible to maximise the customer experience... a recipe for total success.   PS Long live non-discounted theme park

The new viewing area of Rivals is very popular, and is a nice space to sit in and watch the coaster run

And finally, the AA alley is permanently open

And they’ve opened up the gate at DD

Great news that the Alley is open, will definitely help the flow throughout the park in the busy period. Hopefully it stays open when the crowds die down as well.

Interesting that they have slightly opened the gate.. but not fully? Doesn’t make any sense to me 😂

So the free Superman locker hire may not be permanent according to any email I just received -

#2 Ride Superman Escape with free locker hire

Yes, you read that correctly! As a trial, the lockers located at Superman Escape are now free for 1 hour. For more information see the locker hire kiosk or our friendly team at at Guest Services.

Everything they are doing is a trial...  I guess if they get enough positive feedback about it then they will continue it...

I wouldn’t expect much negative feedback about dropping a fee.

I like the details Movie World are adding. Trying to replicate that NYC street feel with all of the works going on. I don’t think we should complain when a park decides to focus on theming details! I welcome it

It is clearly meant to be a photo opp, not just sticking up by itself. You, or perhaps a character would stand holding the jackhammer for a piccy.

How about we wait and see what it gets used for? If they’re just going to leave it like that then I’ll rest my case.

I know what it's meant to be used for.  When nobody is using it for a photo which nobody was in the photo it looks like a jack hammer stuck in the sidewalk.

If they want something realistic they could go with this.

Or nothing says NYC like chewing gum.

The vintage cars have also returned to main street

@Adventures With JWorld Can confirm that the WWF boats have all been repainted, and there have been any changes to the harness system yet. They have also just begun continuous testing of the ride, with some boats continuing test dummies

Forgot to bring this up the other day but if you thought that WBMW construction photo op was bad and made no sense how about two entertainers dressed up as fireman with wondering around Main Street?
