Just like last year's thread. What are your favourite coasters you rode this year?

No offence @Santa07 but your top 10 sucks balls.

How on earth can you call yourself a Theme Park Enthusiast and put DW's ToT significantly in front of 3 multi-gazillion dollar Disney masterpieces?

Sorry Chap but what you are doing is comparing Apple's with Donuts.

This is precisely why I hate top 10's. Happy New Year btw

5. ToT (DW)
6. Colorado Adventure (Phanta)
7. Hyperspace Mountain (DLP)
8. Rock n Roller Coaster (Walt Disney Studios)
9. Crush's Coaster (Walt Disney Studios)

Had the best year ever for Roller Coaster riding and Credits!!

These were probably my favourite coaster experiences- but hard to choose!! When you go on a trip with 32 coasters to ride its a VERY good year!!

1) Mako ( Seaworld Orlando) So far the best coaster I have ridden period. Its an airtime monster. Brilliant and when I was there a walk on!!

2) Montu ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Best invert that I have experienced. Forceful and yet smooth- loved re-riding this coaster

3) Expedition Everest ( Disney's Animal Kingdom) The best that Disney has to offer. Brilliant theming and a great coaster from none other than Vekoma!!

4) Rock "N Roller Coaster ( Disney's Hollywood Studios) Excellent indoor launched coaster had quite a few surprises!

5) Space Mountain ( Walt Disney World) Great ride despite its age- really enjoyed this one and the rare behind seating of the trains

6) Cheetah Hunt ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Best family /thrill coaster we rode. Absolute joy to ride

7) Shiekra ( Busch Gardens Tampa) My first dive coaster and what a brilliant experience!!!

8) Manta ( Seaworld Orlando) First flying coaster and what a beauty!!! B& M goodness and delivers great forces!

9) Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ( Universal Studios Orlando) The themeing on this is incredible and is what gets it on my list!!

10) Cobra's Curse ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Packed a punch well above its weight, very enjoyable family thrill coaster had a number of surprises!! Brilliant!!

I didn’t want this thread to turn into another case of “who’s top 10 is better”, because we’ve had plenty of those over the years... but since it seems I must explain: this is nothing more than a personal opinion, I don’t expect people to agree with my list. The three Disney coasters I’ve mentioned are great, fun rides, but none of them match the sheer thrills and intensity ToT provides (if you want to argue that then go do it somewhere else). I wouldn’t call RnRC or Crush’s Coaster a Disney masterpiece - Pirates, Star Tours, Disney’s ToT, maybe even HSM yes - but RnRC isn’t much more than an indoor roller coaster with lots of lights, and Crush’s second half isn’t much better than Scooby theming-wise. I doubt someone like @pushbutton would have a similar top 5 to me, but I still respect his personal opinion - some people prefer big, thrilling coasters while others prefer less intense ones that provide more of an “experience”.

Happy new year.

My top 10 are -

1 - DC Rivals

2 - Tatsu

3 - Twisted Colossus

4 - Ghost Rider

5 - X2

6 - Xcelerator

7 - Scream

8 - Superman Ultimate Flight

9 - Superman Escape

10 - Buzzsaw

Hopefully I can go overseas again this year so that my 2018 list looks different.

Don't even think I rode 10... bit of a lame year

1. Millenium Force (Cedar Point)

2. Steel Dragon 2000 (Nagashima Spa Land)

3. Maverick (Cedar Point)

4. Gatekeeper (Cedar Point)

5. Valravn (Cedar Point)

6. Thunder Dolphin (Tokyo Dome City)

7. Hollywood Dream The Ride (Universal Studios Japan)

8. Hyperspace Mountain (Hong Kong Disneyland)

9. Flying Dinosaur (Universal Studios Japan)

10. White Cyclone (Nagashima Spa Land)

Has been a really great year for me for coasters, and within the next two weeks I'll officially hit the big 100 on my Coaster Count!

1. Arkham Asylum with VR

2. DC Rivals backwards

3. DC Rivals normal

4. "Scooby-Doo" not so spooky coaster, without the Scooby-Doo!

I've been on some other good rides, but that's about it for Coasters!

I am dumb, so I await correction by someone wise!

In what world is Vintage Cars a coaster?

And do numbers 8 and 9 not exist in this strange world?

I'm only going to count new coasters I rode this year.

1) DC Rivals

2) Deep Space (Adlabs)

3) Nitro (Adlabs)

4) El Loco (Adventuredome)

5) Gold Rush Express (Adlabs)

6) Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome)

7) Big Apple Coaster (New York New York Casino)

8)  Big Dipper (Adelaide Show)

9) Jurassic Coaster (Ekka)

It was a quiet year for me.

Only counting coasters I've ridden this year (re-ridden and new):

1) Expedition GeForce - The definitive airtime machine for me.

2) Lech Coaster - Relentless new-gen Vekoma!

3) Superman the Ride (Six Flags New England) - Would match EGF imo if it weren't for these poor restraints!

4) Schwur des Kärnan - So weird, yet so exhilarating!

5) Helix - Wonderful complete coaster experience despite the lesser intensity.

6) Taron - Unconsistent, but very unique ride with some really amazing elements.

7) Wicked Cyclone - So much ejector airtime it's a little painful!

8) Balder - Great first drop and a ridiculously fun pattern of repeating bunny hops with airtime!

9) Formuła (Energylandia) - Short, but very fun mix of elements!

10) Star Trek: Operation Enterprise - A delicate mix between agressive little pops of airtime and subtle floater moments.

Happy New Year everyone! Even though I'm not posting much, it's a real pleasure to read and follow this forum :)

1. Hair Raiser (Ocean Park Hong Kong)

2. Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Cars (Hong Kong Disneyland)

3. Dragon (Ocean Park Hong Kong)

And that's about it. I only rode 3 coasters last year.
