So, do we think the demo crew are going to take down the old water park on their way out after finishing up with the Log Ride demo?

I think they'll most likely take down only what is needed to accommodate their current plans. If Blue Lagoon falls outside those plans, then they'll leave it be.

I'm still honestly surprised they knocked over the train shed, the amphitheatre and Hollywood Cottage but left in Blue Lagoon.

I'm pretty sure Blue Lagoon will be the last of old DW to be removed purely because they wont have a reason to do anything in that area for many more years.

Final track being installed this morning 

Precisely one piece of track left and about 3 columns. Should be done by the end of today I reckon.

My own bias - but i'd imagined the spike being more 'vertical' than this. I feel like that last piece is only going to exaggerate that too.

Will we see train on the track \ runs before they do the tunnelwork?

Wouldn't you to the tunnelwork first, then the pull through, then full speed tests?

Yeah I guess that makes sense. in my head I figured it'd be easier if there was any ride logic stuff in there to do it without the theming around, but since they pull through before they have full runs, its obviously necessary to have all the theming in place.

Actually I think you're right. 

Maybe rivals didn't need any though as the clearances were all quite big. Gonna be some tight clearances to achieve the desired effects with the tunnel so maybe in this case it is needed?

Pictures taken yesterday afternoon. Looks like Monday will be the day for the last track to go in. All supports are now in place and the carpark is looking empty.

The station is coming along nicely. You can also start to see some structure going up around the tunnel track. 
 

What appears to be the station/load gates have arrived and are stored in the car park too
