Making WWW look 1000% better is not a waste of money. WWW looked absolutely terrible before these slides were painted as they were sun faded to the extreme. Repainting these slides massively improves WWW cosmetically from a run down shithole to a well maintained water park that can compete with WnW down the road. Rather than using my words, pictures tells a thousand words so I'll send some here:

This picture below is a picture of Wedgie before it was repainted:

And after at the same angle.

Similarly, this is a picture of Green Room before (wedgie can be seen in the foreground):

And after (on the right is Green Room, you can also see Wedgie on the left)

Now you tell me, what is better looking? Freshly painted slides that look brand new, or faded old slides? I'm sure that any logical person would prefer the former.

Yes but they should be fade proof so let's hope they using quality paint this time round

No such product exists on the market to have brightly coloured fibreglass that wont fade. The only way is to buff and repaint regularly.

The salmon and purple on the Rip weirds me out, that used to be purple and red.

Red fades worse than the 'salmon' and looks like shit sooner. the salmon hides it better as its a 'washed out' colour already. I think its a smart move to be honest...

But despite what using the colour does, it looks really out of place and is a strange colour scheme. Preferred the previous purple and red.

It's not a strange colour scheme at all.

How can clashing colours ever look out of place in somewhere like WWW?

Clash away, I say!

Pink and Purple are a classic combination, not a clashing colour. Just google pink and purple and see all the images that come up just on that criteria alone.

The combination does work. it won't fade as badly as the previous one did.

I definitely preferred the purple and red colour scheme, especially when it is a part of the rides logo.

If the logo is the issue, i'm sure they can get some more salmon paint to fix that up.

This whole debate is really the discount store equivalent of Disney enthusiasts who don't want Disney to change things in their parks.

We've all complained of how tired and washed out and faded the slides are. Its a fact of life in Queensland. They've learned that those colours aren't workable, and changed it to something else. Hell, since HydroCoaster, and Triple Vortex both use red, maybe they sought to differentiate it a bit more.

It doesn't change the ride experience. It looks better than this:

Enough said.

Popped into WWW to check on repaints and Fully Six

The pictures uploaded of the slide repaints on here do not do any justice, they are looking incredibly fresh and makes the park feel new again

Anyways, few pictures of BRO which I really hope they keep the colour scheme of that they have below

I couldn’t express my disappointment though that the Dreamworld Express wasn’t open at WWW, massive deal breaker for me9AA3DCF3-C573-4D60-B211-258751001824.thumb.jpeg.cf9265ca6303238083712fa6a0970a84.jpeg
