Thought I would create a topic in case anyone wanted to discuss or share photos of former attractions or shows from the parks ( Corkscrew, Bermuda Triangle, Gremlins etc) or talk about how the parks could incorporate elements of former attractions into their future attractions etc

Meanwhile, I recently discovered this image of an actor portraying “Rodney” in PASS. It seems the stuntman would travel under the set via tunnel to get from the toolshed to the main building. ( Source: Youtube)

Here’s some construction photos of Bermuda Triangle

  • See this is a weird comment... John Menzies built countless amazing attractions, albeit with much less budget than would be needed to do today with all the bullshit hoops and standards that need

  • Shame there aren't more of them

I never understand their lists 🤔

They’ve identified ten attractions they miss and then sorted them in a particular order. It then gets published as an article to attract readership.

I don't understand their lists because they choose rides that aren't even the most missed.

Where's Eureka Mountain, LTRR, TOT, Wipeout, Batman Adventure? Why is the Magic Mountain chairlift in there but not the SW one?

It seems to me this clickbait shit was written in 2018 by some washed up journo, mothballed for a couple of years and then finally published in lockdown in a desperate click hungry cash grab. The complete absence of any of the three attractions Dreamworld closed in 2019 is very telling of this.

The demographics that this kind of clickbait crap usually appeals to are very likely going to have no idea what Magic Mountain is or any of the opening day MW attractions.

None of them are as good as a ping pong ball that travels uphill.

It’s a terrible list, I agree.

Just looking at how bare across the road is, I'd still love to see them lease that land, give them the needed extra space to expand, make that area through there look nice, just mandate they have to put a boardwalk along the beach boundary so people can still walk along that area.

It was just shocking to watch the Tower of Terror go so high up the tower.

It’s not really that much higher than how high it was going towards the end of its life. You just can’t see the letters to reference how high it’s going, and also you are lower on the eastern side of the tower than you are if you were on the western side.
