I saw it hit the O in its final legs, I also saw it struggle to hit the F, it’s reach was variable. It was really only at the beginning of the rides life that it hit close to the very top and kiss those brakes. If what I’ve been told is correct, it was a struggle to get it that high during those early days.

Here’s some construction photos of Bermuda Triangle

  • See this is a weird comment... John Menzies built countless amazing attractions, albeit with much less budget than would be needed to do today with all the bullshit hoops and standards that need

  • Shame there aren't more of them

Kids probably get bored because kids theses days only care about fortnite and tik tok or whatever carp their into

Can't you just look in a mirror and ask yourself what you're into?

My earliest memory was the Looney Tunes River Ride. Always got scared when Coyote would attempt to tip the boulder onto the boat. Still waiting for a proper successor in my dreams.

I hated the lift, liked the coaster part, hated the splash down.

I completely forgot about the lift. The splash down was the part where you go down the ramp in the log correct?

From memory, the lift went up, stopped, then the rear raised and rolled you forward. The track turned left, through some fog and into the splash down. Unload was just around another left hand bend.

The good thing is the way the drop was designed, you didn’t get wet from the splashdown. There was also a waterfall effect which “threatened” to wet you as you approached the lift.

Man, so glad I got to experience this awesome ride, wish it was still around for future generations to enjoy.
