Hopefully, someone gear some photos soon. This construction can be really fast and would be a shame if it wasn't documented. 

 

We've been too busy discussing footpaths and facemasks - it's no wonder Village forgot about WNW for so long - its clearly very forgettable!

Have you had any thoughts @DaptoFunlandGuyfor the path leading to the new slides?

Literally popped down just now in lunch hour to have a look and all the steel work and slide pieces are there but no vertical construction.

Unfortunately not anymore these days. My career has taken off, so only have time for visits on the weekends now

I can assure you, any photos I post I have taken myself. If they are other peoples photos I always credit them. 
 

In regards to the incorrect info posted this morning. I was talking to a mate about the new attraction at WNW and he said ‘oh btw I saw they were installing the tower, it’s almost done’. So apparently not. My bad. Sorry @Gazza for causing you to waste time. I’ll be sure to check these things for myself before sharing in the future.

Concrete was being poured this morning 

that's probably why the tower fell down that they built last week!

There are a lot of slide pieces at the back ready for install. Obviously there isn’t a way to tell, but I’d say most (if not all) the pieces have arrived. Concrete continues to be poured for the footings. Work is also being done on the toilet block at the back left

On my way home this evening, I thought I’d pass by the site to see how it was looking. And I can officially say that vertical construction has definitely begun. And here is some proof 

So... tower still not done yet?
