Here is a mini update, not really much point going back until opening day now.

Super ripper is finished and has daylight ring effects on the enclosed section.

The shade structure over the kids area is huge and looks very heavy duty due to the cantilever design.

I was hoping the white shade sails were just going to be used for the rendering, not actually what we ended up with. Not very exciting. Just a further extension of the whole Westfield/Vortex/Sky Voyager/Steel Taipan queue vibes

So Bikash is his recent insta post has further isolated the records associated with the new slides - after the media's inaccurate reporting of it being the longest slide in the world (hahaha).

So apparently its the biggest, longest and tallest tower based slide in the southern hempishere.

I guess anything can be record if you break if down far enough.

It's patently not though.

Beach Park Brazil is in the Southern Hemisphere, Insano is 41m high

Um dos maiores toboáguas do mundo: Insano, no Beach Park, Fortaleza. | Cool water slides, Water slides, Water park

On the WnW website, Double Barrel is described as being 12m high, so i would estimate Kaboom being about 24m high.

It's unlike Bikash to exaggerate....

Maybe he meant in the Oceania region of the southern hemisphere.... haha

Wet'n'Wild have just added a bunch of photos and videos to their FB and Insta channels of people testing the new slides (with the exception of Kaboom)

This looks like a really good addition for the park and makes great use of this large area. I feel like the whole back area of the park will have more energy now that it has seating, a kids splash zone and attractions for all ages
