  1. Just getting in before RWC and saying that there is a Eurofighter called Untamed at Canobie Lake: http://rcdb.com/9517.htm And because Untamed sounds so similar to Unleashed, that must mean Adventure World are getting a Eurofighter.

  2. Why don't we all just sneak into the park one night with some quick dry cement from bunnings, solve the problem for them, high-five the polar bears then go home so we can finally stop pointing out this pain in the ass fence we all know about and all know is just to make you visit their shops.

  4. I think they're just trying to get people to interact with their page, nothing more really. I think a question worth asking is: "is advertising your product by highlighting how awesome other products are a good strategy for success?" Personally I reckon it's ineffective and lazy at best.

  6. There simply is not enough information to go on at the moment to say either way- it could be a ride, an exhibit, a new 4d attraction a themed walkthrough.....all I know is that I think its very clever of Seaworld to release this teaser so early. Our speculation from this early on will build the buzz for what ever is finally going to appear in 2014. All from one image. Great marketing I say!!

  7. I love reading all these realistic suggestions. From what I recall the ride is elevated so a boom lift can get under. For the cost of moving/lowering the ride, you could pay for some cosmetic improvements around the park, or pay for a new attraction at WWW, or buy a 2nd train for Cyclone or many number of other things. Motocoaster is done, it ain't changing now.

  8. If I were a betting man, I'd say it was pretty safe. The thing about Cyclone is that so much has been built around it now, that if you were to get rid of it, it wouldn't be a simple task to replace it with something else. In a ideal world I'd say it could use a second train and a bit of money spent on a refresh of the queue house. I think if you advertised like it was a new attraction (not calling it new, but just making it the focus of an ad campaign) it might be worth it. Also, aside from keeping queues down and satisfaction up, how do you reckon an increased capacity would affect on ride photo sales?

  9. I was taking the piss out of something, can't really remember and was too lazy to look. You're a big boy, you can work it out.

  10. I reckon they probably could bring it back these days now that the studios have a bit of history behind them and some real movies and TV shows of interest have been filmed there. They could also use some of that space at the back of the studios that's currently used as a dumping ground for a couple show scenes (Think Catastrophe Canyon or any of the many show stops on the Universal studio tour). Couple things to keep in mind though: It won't be cheap, the studios aren't much to look at, and the area would need a pretty substantial makeover to be fit for the public, as well as the need for interesting displays to look at along the way. Also, unlike most studio parks, Movie World's customers are mostly locals, and these type of attractions, while being great staples for studio parks, aren't hugely re-ride able. Movie World's would have to be. That would require making it either the most epic studio tour ever ($$$) or changing things regularly (logistically difficult). It would also have an adverse effect on the daily running of the studio. In reality, there would need to be a way for the trams to get around without being in the way of any production not matter which combination of Sound Stages were in use. At the moment, that's probably not true. I'd love to see it back, it would make a great family attraction for the park, but it's not quite as easy as "Get some trams, get people on and drive around". There would be a lot required to make it 'work' as an attraction. Hopefully one day they'll have a serious think about it.
