  4. I was sleepwalking last night and a media release came in. The theme will be based on the film Priscilla Queen of the Desert and the coaster will be called Top Thrill Drag Queens. In an effort to save on construction costs MW have been collecting old KB steel cans and melting them down to provide materials. In all seriousness I think it will be an Intamin.

  6. Thanks Clayton. Good to see the roof starting to take shape. I don't know why, but I find that photo of the big frozen coke laying on the ground a bit funny.

  7. I still don't understand why that western themed lamp post is still there.

  8. Thanks for the updates @JaggedJanine & @Clayton ! The way they are constructing the area around the ride is really cool. I think they are trying to create a secluded area with a small designated entry/exit, which is what Janine was describing as the 'brick wall' on the left of the last picture. Having this area cornered off will probably lend itself to less effort needed to blend it into the wild west themeing, and make the area overall more immersive when your inside. Thanks to @Theme Park Girl, we have a great video showing, I imagine, full speed testing of the extreme Doomsday Destroyer ride cycle:

  10. If we get literally Expedition Ge Force I wouldn't complain that it was too small.

  12. A nice feature fountain would go great in that area.

  13. I'm sure if they put a few pokestops in there (or whatever they are) nobody will even notice how far it is.

  14. I don't think Intamin is on the money. I think we're going to see something a little different this time around.

  15. I'd be stoked if we got a Mack Hypercoaster. If MW's coaster turns out to be something like Flash at Lewa Adventure; that would truly be world class. Mack are kicking goals with all their new coasters around the world. Helix at Liseberg, BlueFire at Europa Park, Alpina Blitz at Nigloland, Lost Gravity at Walibi Holland....all look like kickass coasters. Enthusiasts always rave about Mack's comfort/smoothness and great layouts.

  16. What a 'world's best' roller coaster could look like at Movie World Village Roadshow's chairman boldly stated that one of their Gold Coast theme parks would be announcing one of the world's best attractions. At the same time, Warner Bros. Movie World received council permission for construction of a roller coaster. It begs the question – what would a world-class roller coaster look like in 2017? 17. Janine's description refers to the photo beneath which shows a fairly prominent entry on the corner of the building.

  18. that door looks way too small to be public. I'd say thats back door staff entrance - especially considering the proximity of the breakers right next to it.

  19. Tim I'll add all of the above to the shopping list. Watch out for some changes to water mountain over the winter. MI3 is on the verge of being decided for next winter (and I think you will like the addition but its not quite up there with a B&M or indoor coaster). I can also confirm the Café is about to have a makeover this winter. Mark

  20. Movie Park Germany are reportedly getting a Star Trek themed Mack launcher with a semi shuttle layout. What makes this one interesting is that it sits in the same relative position in the park as Superman Escape does here, complete with a turn cut through the building. Check out Movie Park on google maps and you can see how many similarities there are. Both were built at a time when Warner Bros had an ownership stake in both parks. https://goo.gl/maps/gsDC8i9LmDA2
