  2. Sea World's Carnivale was a mixed bag As Carnivale wraps up its inaugural season at Sea World, a combination of noticeable omissions, basic food offerings, average drinks and limited rides makes the 2017 event an enjoyable night but a shadow of its former Movie World self. 5. Also known as "Watercoaster stops in the rain, passengers horrified they got wet". PASSENGERS on the Storm Coaster ride at Sea World were stuck for about 15 minutes in what the theme park have called a “routine ride stoppage”. The incident occurred around 11.30am at the base of the ride’s incline. About 15 minutes later, Sea World staff members removed the passengers from the eight-seater carriage, offering them bottles of water and umbrellas according to an eye witness named Paul. The Victorian holiday-maker said he was on the ride with his family five minutes earlier when a similar situation occurred. “We were on the Storm Coast just before and it stopped in exactly the same place, just before the incline,” Paul said. “It was only about 15 or 20 seconds but the other carriage was coming up behind us and my kids were screaming ‘stop the ride’, they were beside themselves. “My daughter is still in tears now ... she had a panic attack. “I just wonder what would have happened if the conveyor belt hadn’t caught up and our carriages collided. “I’ve been on this ride several times and this has never happened, it didn’t feel very routine.” Meet Paul. Paul wanted his name in the paper. Paul is a muppet.

  7. After reading this it sounds like the monorail is an attraction in its own right https://towersstreet.com/theme-park/ride/monorail/

  12. I call bullshit - there are no monorails, and there are far too many non-walkthrough attractions.

  13. Considering the efforts the studio goes to to operate the tank, and the popularity it has with all levels of productions, they'd be nuts to get rid of it for a driving range, and TBH - there aren't many other nice flat places close to the sort of power they need near those things to relocate it to, without further limiting their options elsewhere. Personally, I could see them utilising the tank for some other recreational \ entertainment function to further capture and add to the nightlife - even if it were just one of those inflatable water play zones like they have up at coolum for the summer months... i'm sure they could find some WnW lifeguards to staff it after hours (since WnW closes early).... Good find @Brad2912, its great that the images are finally public so we can now talk freely about certain aspects without alternatives. I'll tip my hat to you, but also to the other person who shared these around privately a while back - they know who they are.

  15. June, the traffic was alright. September/October was ok but starting to get cold like Brisbane winters. Use PT and walking in the cities, you'll counter act all the weight you might gain from the food. Planes/trains to travel the big distances. Drove around Germany, France, North Italy and the UK. Italian drivers are a bit crazy and German Autobahns are awesome but not for P platers, they have a very high requirement to get you licence over there so it's nothing to have cars pass you at 200kph when the recommended Max speed is 130kph. Paris Disney is a must, Big thunder mountain runs out of fast pass very early.

  17. Lego retired the sandcrawler only very recently, and a star destroyer set has been out of print for a number of years now. Nearly bought the sandcrawler, but the thing is enormous. Gumtree is your best bet for that set now, since it will only continue to go up in price.
