I think they’ve done a great job with the event, but for me the parade was underwhelming. There are some great floats and great to see so many characters, but because it’s meant to be a celebration event, it didn’t feel like there was much happening. All the characters go up and down Main Street and wave. There wasn’t any dancing, fancy lighting, massive change in music, confetti, etc. I think they should’ve made the parade at 5 or 5:30, because it’s dark by that time and then they could’ve done awesome lighting things. Maybe even someone on a mic announcing who/what is coming next (like how events would announce who was coming down the red carpet next for example). The park has such great atmosphere throughout the day, but for me, the parade didn’t match that vibe.

Get your hand off it mate! In all seriousness, looking forward to seeing your very minor role in it, I’m sure it’s excellent. As with everything Disney does of late, it should be interesting viewing.

I echo what the magician said. I witnessed the event on Monday, and I was impressed with all the extra entertainment (it’s how movie world used to be) however the parade felt incredibly lacklustre, and I couldn’t put my finger on what exactly was missing. Maybe it was the soundtrack? Also considering all the extra parades the park has done in recent times with extra special effects, I was also surprised this didn’t have anything worth writing home about in terms of special effects like sparklers, confetti of the likes.

I find the Villains Parade to be more captivating and just has that bit more energy with flame throwers, and people interacting with the crowd. Copying what @themagician said, this is literally just a parade with waving and I was a little disappointed considering how much it was built up, in my opinion although I could have just built it up in my head.
