  1. Why is that dryer still there πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  2. Basically, RMC track is made of laser cut plates that are welded/bolted together to form a box. The Intamin one is more like standard tubular track, they’ve just got the tubes basically touching each other instead of having a truss type arrangement as seen on Superman.
  3. That land would fit a Mack PowerSplash. I believe that would be perfect as a ToT and RHLR replacement
  4. The building houses the LPS office on one level. It's owned by multiplex (open to correction) and they take money from rent from tenants. When a business wants to move in they are informed it's right next to the park. The park has never had any issues with its building.
  5. Thanks @Yyosh. It just looks like residential especially with the balconies looking decidely "lived in" Cheers
  6. Because Dreamworld Just loves protecting their history of out of place dryers.
  7. Not gonna lie, that's a pretty good replacement for that area - Plus it builds on their Mack relationship as well. I can't really see any negatives to this other than "its a water ride and you've had bad times with water rides" but I think it wouldn't be difficult to turn that aside with reputable manufacturers that have built several of the coast's most recent thrill rides successfully and without issue. I love the idea!
  8. I think you mean 'Trident'... Unlike a steel coaster like Taipan where the control systems come with pre-fabricated bolt-on parts that simply slip into place and plug in, woodies, even though the massive structure appears complete, can still take a lot of work to place a lot of ride control components as they don't have a prefabbed hole to just slot into. And @jack.c even if that wasn't the case, its still got a lot to go until its predicted opening day around 5 months from now. (So if you're impatient now, you've got a looong road ahead!)
  9. Hmm I guess the little kids train will be down for maintenance https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSJgyLbrH/ IMG_1727.MP4
  10. It's Mack Time - Dreamworld's Steel Taipan roller coaster goes vertical Dreamworld's long awaited new roller coaster has finally "gone vertical". The first pieces of track are now in place on Steel Taipan. Elsewhere in the park, the visiting Brickman Legends Lego exhibit is a much-needed drawcard for guests during the school holidays. 11. It feels like they're were powering through up until DW announced Steel Taipan's opening date goal, and just went "oh well, no need to rush, we've got til December to get this all finished now"
