    Theme parks often mix internal creative teams with outside producers, performers, choreographers, production companies, and specialists, so using contractors alone wouldn’t indicate poor management.

    I don't think it's so straightforward as that. Michael produced multiple shows in-house at Wonderland, Movie World and Sea World. While some of them I found a bit corny, they were all quite successful. The outsourced contractors didn't come until much later, and I feel it is unfair to attribute this change to his leadership - as it was more likely a financial decision from higher powers.
