Not sure how long this has been effect, but Dreamworld have made some adjustments to their annuals passes. They now have two offerings being either just a Dreamworld Annual Pass which is now $149, or an 'All Worlds Annual Pass', which includes all the additional perks for just $20 more. For only $20 more the All Worlds pass is very good value

Exactly this. If they’re going to build a dark ride they should be doing it in either rocky hollow or ocean parade. Or even better, use the big shed that was formerly laser skirmish for it.

Them saying it’s permanently closing is them saying it’s being removed. If it was being refurbished, they would’ve said that. Motocoaster is gone for good!

You do know that boats can be manoeuvred on land via trailers and trucks? An existing paddle boat could be modified to connect to a track I highly doubt this. It is much easier to build boats on land than in the water. The river has also become an active ecosystem in recent years and I can't see them wanting to significantly disturb that by building a boat on the water. I'm no boat expert, but looking at photos to compare them both, I'd argue they are of similar scale?

Saw a news report earlier that said that since opening they’ve averaged 10,000 riders per week.

I feel that this is them testing the waters to see if it’s worthwhile for them to offer it all the time. Of course from a customer perspective it is, but maybe they’re wanting to trial it from a business perspective. I know there were a few changes in upper management last year and this may be the start of more changes to come.

The original deal with Nickelodeon i believe started in 2011 when they introduced the parade at the lake and a Dora stage show, the land then opened in September 2015. We don’t usually see licensing deals last much more than a decade in Australia, so will be interesting to see how much longer it lasts.

Sea World have quietly removed the TMNT characters from the park, with the only reference now being ‘Donatello's Ninja Flyers’. No shows, no character appearances, no photo ops. I contacted the park and they confirmed that due contracting an internal review, TMNT has been removed from the park. Does this mean the cost to have TMNT went up?

They just need lasers. Thats it! Thats what the disco room used to be (with some vertical wall led lighting), but if they just add a heap of lasers that’ll be enough.

A One Shot would certainly be worth it for Wild West Falls Remember when it used to be one of the highest capacity rides in the park…. good times!

Village has changed their Fast Track system again for the Summer holidays. Movie World is now $245pp and only includes use for up to 6 rides. Sea World is $129 and includes one use on every ride. Wet n Wild is $139 and is for a half day (either 10:30 to 1:30 or 1:30 to 4:30) and provides unlimited use on all available attractions during your allocated time period.

Have you tried reaching out to the park directly? They may be open into providing some insight into the Bunyip. I did hear at some point this year that the park is looking into ways in bringing the Bunyip back in the future.

I believe those floats have been retired because they are too large (or something along those lines) and they don’t align with new safety standards. Someone on here can provide the detailed/accurate reason, but its the same reason some of the floats in the daily parade are no longer used Well they did the exact same for Wizard of Oz last year too, even after it had officially opened. Are they thinking that because it wasn’t available the first few nights, it’s unfair for those who attended because they aren’t getting the same offering? Because if they are thats a dumb excuse, just open Scooby and Superman!

The show times for Spy Chase are 11am and 2pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior and the show goes for 15 minutes.

Not sure if it’s due to the ride having issues, but Scooby hasn’t opened during tonight’s event. It isn’t listed as an attraction of the events website, but neither is Superman and Flash and they’ve both been operating.

@Gobbledok you must have special vision; because everyone I’ve spoken to or seen comment about the ride have said the disco room is completely dark

The rides averaging between a 1.5 to 2hr wait at the moment!

The queue is open and people are waiting, but no one has been able to ride yet. There are ‘technical delays’ and apparently people are being told they don’t know when the ride will open today.

But how can DW open Rivertown and King Claw on a budget with its level of detail and story telling?
