I should learn to just shut up

That didn't last long.

😂.       What’s happening at the tower now? Any visible progress?

Between all the various social media channels, pages etc, rest assured as soon as someone gets there and notices the progress, it's going to be posted. There are several members that post their own content, and plenty of others that will repost what other channels have posted.

It's safe to say that now painting appears to have been completed, the level of visible progress on the works (other than the giant light up letters of course) is going to slow down.

I can 100% guarantee that the moment the letters start to go up, someone is going to post it.

Other than the letters/lighting and the theming/signage for the queue and building, we probably wont see many other works happens. The extension of time is to prolong the lifespan of the attraction, so that could mean internal tower works are needed

Airtime thrills keeps saying superman escape from krypton was the first coaster to use LSM’s and hit 100 MPH.  It’s really annoying that he hasn’t done more research on it. If he actually fact checked he would realise TOT was undoubtedly the first.

The excuse those people generally use is "it opened to passholders first so it counts".

I know I don’t know why but it really annoys me. We can let them have first giga (even though ToT was kinda the first giga but in shuttle coaster form) just let us have first coaster to hit 100 MPH

Do you ever worry that you've got to a point in life that you've run out of real shit to worry about, so you just worry about anything, and the stuff you're worried about actually doesn't matter? I worry about this a lot. Maybe I shouldn't or something. IDK

But I mean becoming a theme park enthusiast is basically the definition of reaching a point in life where you got no real crap to worry about so you start caring about if a sign at a park you have no control over isn’t 3D.

If it’s in the front they probably wanted them small enough to not be somewhat covered up by the drop rails. The old TOT sign was somewhat hard to read from far away because it was half covered. If you didn’t know what it said it just looked messy

Are these letters punched-hole steel on the front? Will be interesting to see how these light up at night and how they weather over time with all the Giant Drop grease.

Connecting the sign to the old TOT connection points would have solved the problem of the sign getting messed up by the grease.
