Jungle Rush has just opened again. Murrasippi motors is still closed.

Got off it and it was pretty damn good. (First car forward, front row) Of course it's too early to know if the dark ride sections are good as it's still in soft open. And they are running 2 trains

How much work do people think DW will get completed on the dark section before before it opens in 6 days?

At a guess, what you are seeing in the dark sections, is very close to the finished product.

I can’t imagine they’ll be adding many more physical elements to the ride, but there might be effects that haven’t been turned on just yet.

People's early reviews are a bit worrying if it is complete.  Temple looks, great, queue looks great, fingers gross the dark sections live up to the rest of the ride and it's not as big of an anti-climax, as my joke.

Two cows are in a field. Suddenly, from behind a bush, a rabbit leaps out and runs away.  One cow looks around a bit, eats some grass and then wanders off.

they said 1pm yesterday but it got delayed till 3pm as they were installing new queue line barriers I believe so take it with a grain of salt

It wasn't one, and not 2 either.  I have to leave shorty, so guess I will miss out today.  On another note, Greg is looking smart in his Jungle Rush Khaki shirt.

Interesting to see they have incorporated a ramp and platform/dock alongside the river. Surely this is forward planning for a potential riverboat return? Or perhaps another sort of raft/boat ride? I can’t imagine why else they went to the expense of adding it. It’s not noticeable from anywhere so I highly doubt it was done just for theming. Thoughts?

Fairly sure they just didn't remove the existing boardwalk when they demolished ABC Kids World

air-con and fans

btw, JR seems to use an air extraction system to cool down a building without having to use air conditioning (downside however is that you can still sweat near the station area and even Ride operators have their own mini fans) (TV assumes this with the tanks at the top of the building)

If that’s what it utilises it works. The area before the station has mounted fans, and it didn’t feel hot in there at all

Those aren't fans, those are actually hanging speakers. Kinda smart use of "hiding" them I would say.
The actual "fans" I think are in the sidewards cauldron things near the station itself.

Well something is blowing air towards you in that area. There is definitely some form of oscillating airflow be it fan, air con or whatever. The point is it’s comfortable and cool

The only complants I've seen is people what more seating in the area.

This, I agree with a bit. But honestly? It's more so a minor issue that all they could do is add extra benches to the boardwalk or just outside the Jungle Rush building. Dreamworld has really gone above and beyond with everything else in terms of this land in both detail, experience and accessability. Although a question that ponders on my mind is how long both Dreamworld's Rivertown and Movie World's Wizard of Oz would last?
