Just wondering, does anyone know of any roller coasters operating at those random summer / foreshore carnivals at the moment.

I know that Jurassic coaster is at Huskisson, and Nitro coaster failed to appear at Lakes Entrance this year.

But i haven't heard anything about chants "Wild mouse", Crazy Spinning coaster, and the old Thrillseeker (who even owns that now?)

@HussRainbow87 @Spotty what do you know at the moment?

Could it be due to the accident on Rebel Coaster in September? IIRC they are the same coaster with different names.

I don’t know about the traveling coasters in Australia they are a lot more under the radar and hard to even find out how many operate around

AFAIK most of them don't tend to operate at the Summer Carnival's. Not sure what FJF / TPA does with Crazy Coaster over the xmas period. Joylands have got a new "Wild Mouse" coaster that is basically the same as the Galaxy Coaster but this wasn't set up at their Huskisson carnival. The Go Gator and Jurrasic Coaster (kiddie ones) were set up.

As far as I'm aware Lauries still owns the Taipan but I haven't seen it operating in a while. I think the "Wild Mouse" has taken its spot at the easter show and it's basically retired.

Crazy Coaster normally operates at FJF's Summer Carnival in Apollo Bay. Taipan is all but retired from what I've heard. Massive ride and needed a fair bit of work to keep it running. Doubt it will be operating in the foreseeable future.

Just putting it out there, while likely not at any summer carnivals across Australia, I did see and rode a transportable roller coaster called shark coaster at the Ekka (A Brisbane event during early August) last year. It was in the style of a wacky worm (Similar to bug run). So I wonder if any of you have seen it appear across the country since or before then, as I had never heard of it before.

It was at the QLD State Fair when it was at Coomera in Feb 2021

The Crazy Spinning Coaster is at our carnival in Apollo Bay, we close 28 January, with both the Beast and Crazy Coaster opening the following week in Narre Warren.

What’s the Beast?

Is Crazy Coaster the only coaster at Narre Warren?

The Beast is at Fountain Gate until the end of February, then Moomba and then Sydney Royal Easter Show. Same with the Crazy Coaster.
