Markings around Claw?

Recommended Posts

PXL_20240711_061122874.thumb.jpg.d508afdb060174e3d9ce33c5509194aa.jpgI was at Dreamworld today, I I noticed there was a large number of markings around The Claw all around the ride, near the Operator building, in the bark near Shockwave, in the queue line and inside the hole in the ground where the ground drops. Does anyone know what this could be for, the ride is coming up to 20yrs of service this year, maybe a replacement? Shaded seating?

i would love for them to replace the current gondola with the new style Intamin ones (such as Goliath at AW.) the current restraints really limit the airtime and are uncomfortable for anyone over 6 foot.

maybe the ride will be getting a refurb for its 20 years.

I find that highly unlikely due to the focus on Rivertown. It may be a possibility for the future, but for now it just doesn't seem likely.

They look like GIS data/survey marks for underground services. Water, power, etc. Could you see anymore away from the ride? Might not have anything to do with the ride at all, but the location of something underground they have to work on.
