A friend of mine was saying the other day that on Arkham Asylum, he was able to prevent the horrible squeezing by the harness by applying force on it during the ride. I'm wondering, has anyone else tried and succeeded in doing this?

I guess there is a Very small amount of leeway for pushback, but personally I don't find it uncomfortable anyway, except for occasionally when it hits the breaks returning to station. Infinitely better than an hour of sore ears

That brake run is the only part where the trains are uncomfortable for me.

The barrel rolls are easily the worse part of all of Arkham. I can handle the drop, the roll over isn't too bad, the hill is fine, the sidewinder isn't the worst but then you hit the barrels and everything goes downhill. It is an SLC though, so we shouldn't exactly be expecting B&M smoothness.

Movie World has unofficially done a parent swap on all of the major attractions for several years now, you just need to let the person at the entrance of each of the rides know that you are doing it (or in the case of Green Lantern and Wild West Falls the loader) It's not exactly a new concept to them. It's amazing what asking a staff member politely will get you at the theme parks

Are there really no hotels in that area? Where do people like to stay when they're on the coast?

Great idea, a couple of motels and a holiday park is all that's close by. Would be a welcome addition though seems more residential than hotel given the description

I don't think a hotel or resort in close proximity to the parks is feasible, a more residential with a hotel aspect would be more realistic.

So, pretty much a Meriton complex? Have it as a mostly residential estate with maybe one part of the complex as "serviced apartments" for people to stay at like a hotel? I actually think that would be a much more feasible option...

Doe anyone think that with Pirates of the Caribbean being filmed at the Village Roadshow studios, there might be more interest in a studio tour or exhibition of some sort of the sets?

2004 would have probably not happened if Paramount bought Wonderland. It could have even been sold to Cedar Fair.
