I also saw a Gold Rush street sign and they are still advertising an attraction called Brocks Garage. Gold Rush is still shown on in park maps.

Just driven past and it looks so much better painted, and next to the faded horribleness it has become, it shows had bad it really is. Hopefully it continues across all the slides, and they are cleaned up internally

Have to say, unless they plan to do something with the Murrisippi that actually works with the river, they should just drain it, fill it in, and develop it, so that they stop cramming shit into ocean parade.

This is where i'm at in my mind - original Dreamworld is done & dusted, and if you accept that then it does open up new possibilities like the above.

They should fill in most of the river keeping a smaller part from Billabong and in front of the wildlife area adding water features.

It sucks that they can't keep the river clean. They do have turtles in there but guests can't see them in the current state. I expect the river to look like that in an abandoned theme park, not an open one.

Doesn't this happen literally every spring? Along with the same discussion?

All they need is a series of small fountains placed throughout the river. this breaks the water surface, oxygenates it, and pushes any growth out to the edges.

Seriously, the work experience kid could take $200 to bunnings and fix it permanently.

Plus get those people in that skim lakes to remove plant growth aswell. They use nets and drag it to the shore.

Fountains or there’s a red dye you can get which kills off algae. Otherwise, cover it over like Adventure World did their’s.
