this would be a great replacement for bermuda still use same ride layout with changes and add dinosaurs inside and give the place an upgrade the volcano can still be used and even the video room(wishful thinking) to inform riders that you are taking a trip through time to find what happen to the dinosaurs but who knows it would be sad if its just a exhibit as it will be only a filler when rides are needed even flat small rides would help make the place a full day exprience

Once employed at any theme park on the Gold Coast, the member can not be part of any Facebook pages etc as it states in the contract. If Theme parks fond out about a employee in a Facebook group it will be an instant dismissal.

That's not true at all, no one is fired for joining a facebook group. As for posting inside information gained purely as a result of being employed by the company to the public domain that is another story, but staff members can certainly join a facebook group. There are many staff members on these forums whether you know it or not.

Bored at work and remember the name Sally Corp being thrown around in the MW Spring Attraction topic as they specialise in dark rides and animatronics. Decided to hit their website and they do some pretty good looking dinosaurs. Sorry this got my brain going and thought it was interesting. Most likely nothing but food for thought. Continuing on the tangent though... If you were to need to replace a couple of dark rides, going through the same company you could hit them up for a discount... Would also save on shipping...

You know, I have myself thought the exact same thing. We have 3 dark rides all down at once why not kill all 3 with one stone and most likely pick-up a discount on the way. I think that Sally interview at IAAPA really does lend itself to them coming here to do JL since thats a major brand like they mentioned, but they could do something with SW and if it Jurassic themed BT already has much of theming in place and Sally do work with Dinosaurs! But please if the Volcanoes remain, I beg (even though with JR it possibly can't be done now??) bring back the fire!! However, with LT I wouldn't mind seeing (if theres enough space) a rapids ride themed to LT, SF and our sister park in Spain both have rapid rides themed to the Looney Tunes characters and Universal used one for Popeye. Its also exactly what the park needs for the hot summer months another water ride and help take the strain off WWF as the only place to get wet to cool off on a hot day. But maybe Sally could help out with the LT animatronics like Bugs! I just thinking as well opening dates, if this is a major new attraction for SW, my guess is they wouldn't open it the same time as the Batman replacement. This would be for the Christmas/Summer holidays, that way Village have opened something new basically every holiday this year and essentially have gained a monopoly over DW in terms of marketing and attracting people and spreading there guests out between their 2 theme parks.

99% of compaines have a social media policy. If I talk about my job for instance, I need to state the views don't represent my employer/not qualified in that area... blah blah blah Pretty standard practice now.

What ever it is, I hope it's a ride. Yes it's a marine park but they seem to be (IMO) severely lacking in the decent ride department. Without SV open, I can't really see any reason to head there at the moment.

Funny because when I visited the park with my family last week we didn't go near a single ride and had a great and full day. Yes the rides are a nice distraction but the real appeal and attraction of the park to most is the marine life aspect.

I'd have to agree with reanimated - the park needs some more rides. I remember as a kid wanting to go to Sea World for, believe it or not, the rides. I remember getting so excited walking through those gates and knowing I'd soon be hopping on Lassiter's Lost Mine Ride, the flume and the thrillseeker rollercoaster. For me as a dark ride fan even as a kid, Lassiter's was something really special. I agree that the animal attractions are great at Sea World and certainly give older people who might not want to go on the rides something to enjoy. But Sea World has always been about rides too and right now that is lacking. I get a feeling that might not be the case for too much longer though...

(IMO) couldn't agree more. We have always found Seaworld to be the park we could spend the most time at. The kids are happy to see the shows every time we go, and spend heaps of time at ray reef and the touch pools. They would spend all day watching the penguins, polar bears and sharks if we let them. Add in Castaway Bay and the kids rides plus the flume and it's a very full day. But looking forward to seeing what the new attraction is.

Agreeing with most of the points above. We get to the parkz when they open and the only one we are still at when it closes is SW. The only (recently operating) ride that I looked forward to going on was BT. Before that it was only the Skyway and train as they let you see more of the park.

I used to enjoy seaworld when I was younger. I went recently though, and only spent 2 hours there. After a few laps on Jet Rescue and a look at each of the animal exhibits we were done. But I guess it caters for a younger audience than me.

Sea World would still be a great park without rides. Small things like the enthusiasm of the people in the Nickelodeon characters costumes were great to see when I visited a few weeks ago; making memories for the young and old. The care they give for the animals, and the shows are fantastic.

Went to Sea World today and in the Carpark is what i believe to be new theming for a ride/attraction. I couldn't get a photo but it looks like they're massive trees and the tops of them were covered.
