MovieWorld dropping the WB licence?

Featured Replies

Just came across this picture on Facebook from the Theme Park Social network..

Could Movie World be dropping the WB licence and just going with Village Roadshow? The Carnivale logo last year had he WB crest in the same position the Village Roadshow logo is now.

I don't know - when you have a logo already done from last year, and you deliberately change it to a logo not featured on the park branding, maybe it is time to convert to VRTP publicly?

Why go to the effort of designing a whole new license omitting the WB brand unless thats where you were headed?

The park is way more DC these days than it is WB - WB kids and scooby are the only remaining WB identifiable property, aren't they?

Good point AlexB. With the high costs of maintaining the licence and the fact that the park uses just the "movieworld" Tagline across social media and their websites is it about that time that it becomes "Village Movie World"?

I heard in the grapevine it's going to be renamed "Six Flags over Time Warner licenses for the financial year ending 2017."

With the Rio Olympics this year it would be a good tie-in to have a carnival themed event across all 3 parks this year.
