I have some better ones I'll do later, but for now, enjoy this. It was a little windy and pushed the fog off to the side though which sucked a bit, but still. 

 

Was saddened when we went to use this last night yet the mallets had been removed...  Sure it would have looked great at night ?

You don't need a mallet. It's a basic game. I set it off several times at night. You just need to put weight evenly across the metal plate and you don't need any force. Just put one hand on either side of it and press. 

First time on doomsday today,  got more of a thrill watching roadrunner 4D.

Ouch. Poor review.

The ride isn't made to be intense or thrilling, just fun. It's meant to cater to both younger thrillseekers and older ones accustomed to crazy intense rollercoasters, and I think it achieves that perfectly.

I agree with Santa here, while the ride isn't intense as Arkham or Superman, this and Tail Spin IMO it does a good job attracting people who want to become thrill seekers like some of us

I think people on here can get a bit carried away with 'OMG isn't the new thing amazing!'  To me, Doomsday is pure filler, but the park needs a bit of filler so sweet!  Is it a good ride?  It's fine, I doubt I'd go on it unless I was with a group of people who wanted to go on it, but the area around it is nice, and it gives new life to a pretty neglected corner of the park.  That's about it really.

So I bought my wristband today and wow those interactive exhibits left me quite breathless. Why go to a gym when you can go to DC supervillians unleashed? It's a shame Joker wasn't working today but Killer Croc was a great substitute.

All the people that ride this must be like, wow this goes upside down so many times, i dont know why people say superman escape is scary, it doesnt even go upside down. Nek minute they start crying on the superman, and get scared for life from rollercoasters lol.

Because everyone's interpretation of 'scary' is different. For me, inversions aren't scary at all. I'll happily go on Arkham Asylum and Green Lantern a dozen times over without question.

But with Superman Escape, I find being launched down a tunnel to 100kmh in just 2 seconds to be a very intense experience which I have to build up courage to endure. Not everyone handles that "leave your stomach behind in the station" feeling very well. 

Does anyone have any idea why the jokers bank skill tester wasn't working yesterday? Is it because of the rain or just technical faults?

The 2 times I visited it's been on & off with technical issues, mainly because massive guys feel the need to slam it down like they are playing a skill tester to save their lives.. 

Those are probably the easiest things to break. In saying that, I'm sure they're designed to take a hit from the people who think it's all about strength and feel a need to show off. 

I usually put in what looks like a big effort in swinging it over so that when people who don't have the bracelet try and put in effort and nothing happens there is a bigger laugh...  I have seen the silver capper lift and jam quite a lot though...

I'm the other way, I get more enjoyment from watching someone struggle to slam it down for no result, then just walk up and press it without a hammer and send it to the top. 

I just love seeing people's reactions when they take a selfie in front of the killer croc bit and suddenly water shoots every which way. The best part is they have no idea someone is controlling  the water. #DayMade

A couple of kids were doing this on Saturday night since the C2 maze exits from the old entrance to the show stage...  If you weren't paying attention you were not going to have a good time...

It wasn't long after that a couple of staff came our and put a barrier up haha. We tried to do the same thing

does anyone else swipe their RFID band for someone who's watching you just so they can have fun too?  Is it allowed or not encouraged to swipe for other people so they can fork out money ?

I did it last week when I was at the park and when I did, all the kids got shy and walked away when I told them they can have a turn hahaha

I have a couple of times with Captain Cold on a hot day so they can squirt their friends...  But realistically I had to pay my money to be able to use it so they should too...

This is true. However it's not like it costs every time you swipe so there's no loss and not every family can afford the extras so one swipe isn't going a be a problem. 

One swipe from him, one from you, one from the next guy, and the next, and suddenly you're getting the experience for free that others have had to pay for.
