And you will be happy to hear that's one of the rides where you can't wear the blindfold on..

Then there is literally no point of the whole blindfold thing

Things Dreamworld could've done that are way better ideas than this:
- More intense cycle on Wipeout (as per Gazza's comment above), or just a different cycle
- Longer cycles on some flat rides
- More intense version of Kevil Hill - as in darker or more fog (I was actually lucky enough to experience Kevil Hill one morning after the fog machines had been accidentally left on full-blast all night and it was much more intense since it was very hard to see where you were going)
- Run ToT at full-speed (assuming the ride has the capability to do so, this might not be possible though)
- Send Buzzsaw around twice each cycle (assuming the ride's system has the capability to do this, it probably doesn't but if it does that would be cool)
- VR on MDMC (we know it's got the capability, use it)
- Different audio on HWSW

It most certainly does 😁 Hubby & I both witnessed it whilst jumping into the car one (quiet) afternoon... at the end of a typical cycle the car is usually caught and then reversed back down to the station for unloading, but that one particular time we were watching, it caught the car, then immediately sent it up and around for a second lap 😮

Actually pulled my phone out and filmed the next couple of cycles in hope it would happen again, alas it was a one off lol. But definitely possible to keep the ride going for longer if they want to 👍

Just would like to have my say on things and see what you also think?

It's too much fun like it is now!

Defiantly agree with this on The Claw & Skadoosh(If you classify that as a flat ride)

Certainly agree with more fog, but with any less lighting 95% certain it could become a safety hazard.

Well, it usually only goes around twice because of Filming, special request, Certain events etc. But also at the operators choice(Nowadays Pretty Rare!)

I started this topic back in May 2017 and Ardent is still working on DW master plan.

According to DW work is well advanced on the preparation of a site master plan.  This is what Ardent has so far-

1.   F&B and entertainment precinct opened day and night.

2.   Hotel accommodation.

3.   Complementary commercial development on surplus land.

Plans for construction of $500 million hotel next to Dreamworld move forward

The development of $500 million three-tower hotel development next to Dreamworld is a step closer after a revamped development application was submitted to the council.

Plans for a $500 million three-tower hotel development next to Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld are moving ahead following the submission of a revamped development application to the City of Gold Coast Council.

If approved by council, developer Gordon Corp plans to begin construction of the 10-storey first tower in 2020.

Features of the hotel include 400 square metre ballroom, 130-seat all-day dining area and 40-seat pool bar and a “lagoon-style” swimming pool with two spas.

A report to council stated that the architect determined it was not possible to fit a minimum of 300 resort hotel suites within the 10-storey building height limit whist also providing all the ancillary facilities.

It is fully understood that council would not entertain additional building height for the site and it is understood this is required to be a resort hotel providing a high-level of tourist facilities,” the report said.

“The 300 resort hotel suites was a number generated by council during negotiations to settle the appeal.

“This reduction (of room numbers) allows the future project team to move forward with (an application) for all three stages.”

Digging up an old thread to bring you all this:

https://www.realestatesource.com.au/qic-sells-northern-gold-coast-town-centre-site/

"Queensland Investment Corporation has sold the balance of the Coomera Town Centre site to a partnership comprising Keylin Group and Kinstone Developments.

The 47.73 hectare tract, 64 Foxwell Road, will exchange for c$30 million."
