Not Sure if anyone has noticed or stated this, but the entire convey belt on the TRRR is covered in what looks like tarps, as well as the accident location is covered too, even though there is nothing to see.

The Construction works taking place at the Chill Out Zone will be an Amazing Temporary Attraction for these school holidays, which is currently under construction by the incredible temporary project company, GCD. As well as Kevil Hill WILL Be open during these school holidays and for the near future.

Amazing attraction? Doubtful

Temporary... that's the whole problem with that park!

Log ride update that I stole.  If you believe TPSN these are motors for the lift hill.

That looks like a water pump to me. Adding onto that, the roof of the pump building has been removed. But mainly because Lift Hill Motors usually don't look like that!

Totally had to steal this... (Thanks for the laughs TPSN)

Is Dreamworld really putting in a ferris wheel as a temporary attraction?

Hardly worthy of them spending  $2 on, if they are.

What makes you think its a temporary attraction Push? If its a temp attraction, why would they put it in the space they are doing so, which requires a lot of ground work for them to put it? Wouldn't they just put it in a blank open space if its temporary carnival attraction?

  • Log Ride Reopening For Christmas, Minor changes and improvements.
  • More Simulator Based rides.
  • More Custom rides and not "Pre Set",  or in the words of Craig "Rides in a Box"
  • More Rides for the entire family.
  • Less focus on Thrills.
  • Improving the park and not Drastically Expanding.
  • More Immersive Attractions.
  • Higher Quality Attractions.

You have your areas confused Push. The temporary attraction is going in by Kevil Hill and the kiddie wheel down by the river where Captn Sturt once docked.

Ah. That makes a bit more sense then. I'm still unsure why they felt the need to put a temporary attraction right next to Kevill Hill, so close that it will at least partially block the view of it. There's not exactly a shortage of space elsewhere in the park for it. We'll see.

On the face of it all of that sounds pretty good to me, but I'd like to know some detail.

What will the new attractions be? Where will they be? Most importantly, when will we see them at least start to construct the first of them?

The ideas seem real good and I applaud Dreamworld if they follow this plan, but at the same time, the park does need one more good Thrill Coaster, Cyclone is getting on in years, which just leaves one trick ponies. A nice wooden coaster to add to that mix would be fantastic. I'm dreaming though.

I'm interested to know what type of "simulator rides" they're thinking of. Are we talking flying-theatre-like rides or little fairground boxes with a screen?

That's the main reason I'd like to see some detail. Makes a massive difference!
