Thinking and maybe there should be a F.A.Q. or similar topic posted for new people with a list of commonly posted or suggested things that new members can check out to prevent the lynch mob grabbing their pitchforks and torches whenever someone new joins and suggests things that have already been suggested a million times. Would certainly make the place a little bit more friendlier for those who just joined.

Not a bad idea

You could even add a thread permalink to the topic where it was discussed ad nauseum, so if someone wants to discuss 'Disney Australia' - there's a thread for that. etc etc.

Speaking of RMC a Raptor Track wouldn't do too badly at Dreamworld. Might not be the highest capacity ride but one of those in the Blue Lagoon/Goldrush area would draw some people away from the Ocean Parade side of the park. Could possibly be cheaper than their Wooden/Hybrid creations too.

Agreed, it's capacity would be no worse than some of their current rides (eg. Buzzsaw, Tail Spin), and seeing how quickly they seem to be selling over in the US, I wouldn't think they're too expensive either.

dw got passes for just $74 now but sorry were going to MW this year for RIVALS. maybe if you had a cool rollercoaster too we'd go there more. :P

Just quoting this for future reference - for when the next coaster is announced and all the cry-babies whinge about 'why are they putting in another coaster'

What about something similar to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland. Lets finally scrap Eureka once and for all and use the space left behind by it and the closure of TRRR. Not sure if any major company builds anything similar to the one at Disneyland but would fit into the Goldrush country theme. Ride capacity would be greater than Eureka and ride comfort-ability would be better too than those cramped mine carts of Eureka.

Dreamworld dont have anything major in the pipeline. They are looking at fixing what they have and working on great experiences over big rides. Its a shame but with ardent 65 million in the hole over last year its just the way it is. Expect a bigger push into asian tour markets and the "Australian experience" to bring in money.
