I was more thinking of in the rare case that a theme park is constructed in the next few years when either Dreamworld or Movieworld still have these licenses, but I can see what you mean.

Does anyone know what happened to the Harry Potter License that VRTP had

They have a fair amount of Harry Potter merch on Main Street so I assume they have some licensing agreement. I wouldn't be surprised if it was only for merchandise though.

yeah, universal purchased the rights from JK Rowling, and their rights ended.

VRTP's and Movie Worlds copyright information must be really out of date to be lying about having some form of legal theme park rights to harry potter.

You're not asking yourself what the hell Splashtacular, SWNR Scout, SAW, Ice Age, The Polar Express or The Walking Dead are doing on that page as well? It's clearly out of date. If Movie World had any legal rights to the Harry Potter universe, you don't think they'd use it? It's a remnant from the old themed shop.

Lying? It's stating that Harry Potter belongs to WB and JK Rowling. No more, no less. You posted this same non-story six months ago and were thoroughly debunked at the time. It's an out of date page buried on their website... probably time to give it a rest.

Apparently NBCUniversal acquired the TV and digital rights to the Harry Potter franchise last year
