Dreamworld has finally come into terms to remove cages from the ride

Is this a statement, a question, or a thought? Either way, i'm glad the community is making good use of the fountain of improbability.

OMG it even comes up with a little picture of a fountain when it gets enough fountain reactions. Awesome!

At what point were the cages ‘temporary’? I see no reason to believe they’d spend that much time and effort installing them, just to remove them for no apparent reason. Personally I don’t see they are much of a hinderance to the attraction... just a part of the safety aspect

Yep - watch the whole clip - the shadow's a give-away, and to add, they were there on Thursday, so no chance of all them coming off between now and then.

Sure you didn't get angry during your visit and rip the roofs off the logs?

Seems that Dreamworld encouraged riders to stand up before cages went up ....

Obviously they wouldn't do that.

Should Dreamworld even keep the rocky Hollow log ride with the cave now gone it's not really worth keeping, it be better as a foot path as the boats go really slow around the course anyways, people can walk faster. Perhaps they could make the plunge a slide instead.

Thats a great idea!!

They can put a few more slides in too, some change rooms and whatnot. Make a real area out of it.

Possibly even call it something like "Green Lagoon" or "Blue Lake" or something. Just throwing ideas around.
