Can anyone also confirm for me if there are fountains underneath the ride?

Can confirm there are fountains under the ride, they normally have them on during the day and can be seen, hoping like other topspins the fountains will go with the ride experience and shoot up with the ride.

Will this new wooden roller coaster be similar to Ghost Rider at Knotts Berry Farm?

Check out the "Jungle Trailblazer" woodies they have in China. I believe it will be similar in style to them.

RCDB says about 100feet and they tend to be about as accurate as Richards articles so I’d say that’s likely what we’ll see.

It’s great and all that you have both cooked up this idea that some local chippies will just follow the plans and knock em selves up a coaster but it’s only that, an idea.

Doesn't seem to be any more that we can do to persuade you otherwise so guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Well... we can see now....

my point was, BB was built by local tradespeople based on PTC plans and SW could easily do the same. Rappa's argument that SW wouldn't want to repeat that method was shot down by Rich's point that there isn't much to building a woodie, and it's further confirmed by the fact that we have timber on slab, and tradespeople on site currently building the damn thing. (Last I checked, our borders are still closed to the overseas specialists you all think are necessary for construction to begin).

Thanks Jay Jay.

They're just wasting time and resources and they're going to have to tear it all down.

Everyone knows they can't start building this coaster with local tradespeople. They have to wait until the GG specialists arrive!

For christ sake. They should have let the professionals do this.

You cant get any simple local chippie to knock up a wooden roller coaster even if they have the plans. This could be expensive now.

... or M&V are currently overseeing a local crew as was always going to be the case?

Village have said outright that they have specialists here for the project.

For what it's worth, my original point was that despite the incredibly simple construction of wooden coasters, the skill and IP is in successfully managing the project. I'd also hazard a guess that Taft had very well versed project managers out from the US overseeing Bush Beast in much the same way that M&V are overseeing a local construction crew.

You mean, they're following the same construction approach?

This construction approach also resulted in one of the worst wooden coasters in history so probably not keen to copy it.

😮

For some reason you’re like a dog with a bone being right in this thread and playing semantics.

Your original post said they had local guys working to a set of plans to build BB.

I said SW would have specialists out here overseeing it. That doesn’t mean not a single local tradesman is allowed to work on it.
FWIW other than an anecdotal mention here it’s not be stated that local tradesmen are doing the coaster track build.
However it has been stated on record by the companies CEO that overseas workers from the coaster company are here on site...

But if it means so much to you to still win some argument that you’re the only person invested in take the win.

Im really not bothered. I’m just glad to see they got the people out here finally and we’re getting a coaster.

I feel like this coaster is going to come up quite fast, let's just pray we don't get bad weather 😂

Worst time of the year to build a coaster, most common time of the year to build a coaster in Aus
