I was expecting a much bigger trident on top. No super noticeable outside the park

When I drove past there were also a crew working on one of the banked turns on Leviathan that comes up along Seaworld Drive, looked like they’d removed some of the timber and were doing inspections of the area

I've been on Rivals backwards.👍 (Great)

I've been on the ST spinning car.👍(Great)

But I can't see myself going backwards on this woodie.   What makes a woodie great is the head choppers & near misses.  It creates an illusion of speed.   You go backwards on this and you are in essence, paying for a shittier experience.

I’ve rode Colossus backwards (SFMM) in 2013 and it was a great experience!

I think the tower does look nice and i’m glad they did actually add the trident on top of it but, i did think it would be a bit more bigger and “dramatic.”

here’s what the area now looks like with the rides completed;F6C6BB50-18A6-4030-9174-3443D8628667.thumb.jpeg.ae0a27dfbcc8a1bf16c35a5901583886.jpeg

I can’t wait till we get our first off ride glimpse of Leviathan running though, hopefully day time testing starts soon🤞🏼

Here is a quick update regarding both Trident and Leviathan (photo credits: https://youtu.be/GsQLqZBD43c.)

- Trident has had all of its seats installed onto the gondola.2D6944DB-E997-4E5D-A789-059A9078D5AD.thumb.jpeg.675a0e6e8703bc8292fe26134f811855.jpeg5235AD2D-5BDA-413E-8A9A-DA3A278169F6.thumb.jpeg.825bb2080cbf055cc9a7d3fdbad468f6.jpeg

- Panels around and inside of Leviathans entrance are starting to go up.

- Rock work is also starting to be installed within the queue line which is hopefully a good sign for decent theming / landscaping.

even though the September opening has now been moved, i think with how fast they seem to be working it’s a great sign it’ll be open by Boxing Day (fingers crossed🤞🏼.)

If he does get you one, don’t post it.
They could get fired or banned from site, has already been one case of this.
Just enjoy the video, it will be worth the wait.

I heard this last night too. Very grainy nighttime video shows what looks like trident operating with lights on the bottom of each gondola\seatpair. No idea of the source.

Vortex had a terrific nighttime lighting package but apparently they can't use it because it was too bright for the ride ops

Went by Sea World today and had a quick look at Leviathan. I noticed new lights and cameras have been installed onto the monorail track supports, indicating that SW are not looking to remove the monorail track anytime soon (at least this section). The extra work lights/equipment that was previously sitting on top of the monorail track itself during the coaster’s construction have all been removed and the track is now clear. Is this a sign of the monorail’s return?

Id say they need an elevated position for mounting that equipment so will leave the existing column in place even if the track ultimately goes. It’s effectively back of house now so prob fair enough.

I mean, I think it'd be awesome if Village had invested in a new monorail train or two to breathe new life into the attraction, but with everything already announced, i'm not sure if there's anything left in the piggy bank.

Honestly though the kinetics the monorail gave to Sea World are hard to beat... I do hope this is a positive sign.
