A SW employee posted some info on the Gold Coast Reddit:

- Leviathan will offer a near Disney theming experience, unmatched in Australia

- Doesn't think there will be a soft opening for Levy or Trident

- SW have plans to "reintroduce older rides" as guest absorbers and round out the park offerings

Only "older rides" that I can think of that can be reintroduced would be monorail and log Flume? Maybe the cinema if you call that a ride?

I mean obviously not Disney standard, it's not a great idea to invite that comparison. Looks like it'll be easily better than most rides in the country though in terms of a big outdoor roller coaster.

I used to work at Disney and it’s approaching Disney levels of theming

They go on to say that they don't know anything about Surf Rider coming to SW as they hear no operational news about WnW.

 

And the reintroduction of rides sounds like its still in the planning stages

If your parents jumped on the Orphan Rocker now, you'd definitely be an orphan. 

VRTP have been way too frothy on the hyperbole, but the theming does look fantastic.

 

Tridents ride signage has now been i staled, on top of this we get to see how some of the rest of the area will look at night. 1 week left till opening, who thought it would actually get this close.

Looks really good. It’s an exciting time to be a theme park enthusiast on the Gold Coast with so much construction across all of the parks. Sea World just need to do something with Viking’s Revenge now.
