I went to the Cypress Avenue today, and the Funtime Vermatron was removed. A ride operator told me Vermatron is going to go to the Russia. Slingshot will be removed after Chrismas, but there is a new more larger slingshot is coming to Cavil Avenue, and the operator told me it would be higher than 100 meters. Whereas, operator told me the new slingshot will be built on a building.

 

I think a Vermatron is a robotic pest controller... 

The Vomitron is something else all together.

This has been long in the plans. That whole block was on the market not long ago.

Right before schoolies.  Bad for business.

Well it’s been long expected to happen, when it was announced in 2017 so the rides were on borrowed in current location. I expect the new slingshot to be build and opened mid next year and that depend on council agreement to the plan getting approved if it hasn’t been done yet

Some business shut up shop during schoolies because it keeps paying customers away.
