Recently, I have also flown a drone over the site, and it looks very similar to how it was pictured in the video

I’ve mentioned this in another topic, but the RHLR vehicles and jungle rush theming are being stored there, as well as the abc kids and wiggles world signs. There’s also other props that you can see from the exit to Steel Taipan

Oh wow that's surprising. I thought a lot of it was destroyed for some reason. It's very intriguing to me for no reason. I wonder why they left it

Probably because it costs money to demolish and they currently don’t have any immediate plans to use that space that require it to be cleared.

They demolished the former Big Brother stage that was next to it

Here are some photos taken from Saturday. Sorry for the poor quality I forgot to turn on cinematic mode. Next time. Anyways, as you can see the props are there, including some old carts from TRR (the green tank thingy). Theming for Jungle rush is being stored there, as well as the old RHLR vehicles. The old Town Of Gold Rush logo is also in the corner, i zoomed it in.

That is really interesting to see, I can't believe the infostructure for Blue Lagoon and even one of the slides is there after this long, looks like the area right now is being used as a tip for signs etc. for lands that have been removed

No Running what?... No running waterslides?

I think that is what the sign was for, due to it most likely being wet with the wet people walking around. However, now I think it would be impossible to run in that area without tripping.

When the area first opened, there was only 2 lifeguards, one for the main pool and one who operated the toboggan slide.   People would chain-ride the body slide & dam up the tube slide.   The no running sign was more for looks.  😂

Wish I was alive back then, sounds like fun!

Interesting stuff! Thanks for sharing. Hopefully they eventually do something to the site and don't leave it to rot

I still don't think you get it...

No I think I do…

no running water slides is saying how there are no water slides.
either that or it’s just sarcasm

Great spot for a quality new Log Ride!

That's true. Even if they did though, I think using the old plot and the motorcoaster plot as well would provide adequate space for even a new themed area. Even if they didn't use the Motorcoaster plot, there would still be plenty of space.

I have no idea what their grand plan is.  All I know is they are currently trying to cut up the excess land and re-zoning the lots.  My guess is, DW are about to sell the surrounding land.

By re-zoning the land, DW are maximising the value of the land they wish to sell.

Definitely. Either way, the value of that land being right next to a major theme park is sky high. By rezoning the land they most likely will never need, they will have more money for future projects.
