They got busy on that fence, wasn’t there on Sunday. Does look a lot nicer.

I'm fairly certain that past the woolshed area the fencing was old timber sleeper style fence, with maybe chicken wire on it, wasn't it? not pool fence? (agree that billabong area had pool fence though).

Dronkey Flyer maintenance extended until June 25. I would say a Dreamworks rebranding is coming. Pretty poor the park waits until 9:00am on the day its supposed to open to extend maintenance.

Big thrill ride? Sure. But a kids ride extending maintenance isn't something I am sure will upset a lot of people.

^It is when a large majority of the rest of the kids rides are also down at the same time. 

The entire ride was missing from the pad. They knew it wasn't going to be up. Probably 4 days prior to the due date, due to the weekend - its piss poor regardless of which ride it is, but especially because their kids offering right now is severely lacking.

So the one thing DW had going for them, they threw it out the window too? 

The kids offering is very poor at the moment, 'Big Red Boat' is half capacity (lol), Gingy's Gliders is shut, The Donkeys are shut and the Shrek Carousel is down, if you have a toddler there is nothing.

if only they had like - a kids dark ride with continuous loading cycles to offer more than 60 seconds of 'spin in a circle'

Am I not understanding this sign correctly, since when has the tiger cub area been to the right (this sign is as you enter into Tiger Island from Dreamworks)?

When the Cubs are first put on display they are in that indoor display with windows for the public to view them through, to the right of The Den area. It’s currently  behind the closed gate however

Took some photos behind the walls at Trolls Village today. Is it just me or does the 'background' look 'new'? Anyone have any guesses as to what the theme could be?

Could this be 'Winterville' for Winterfest?

It's not exactly new it is just the kevil hill billboard painted over. you can see in this photo its in the exact same spot.

Yes that’s the remainder of the Trolls theming, I’m talking to the left of the pictures, where the old “stage for Trolls use to be. 

oh okay i just noticed the billboard first didn't notice the stage till you mentioned it.

At first glance, I thought it was the background of a cold winter's night

I agree with the cold winters night and they wouldn’t have strange things at happy Halloween because it’s a family event

I don't hate this... it's better than the space laying dormant in the middle of ocean parade... and it's not the worst theme crossover ocean parade has ever had...

Most ride’s were running smoothly at Dreamworld yesterday with only 5-15mins wait however:

MDMC was running horrendously slow. The wait was about 45 minutes for the standard queue (it’ll be a even longer wait for the poor families in the sidecar queue). This is a very long wait compared to The Gold Coaster - 5-10 mins and BuzzSaw - A walk on. In my opinion, MDMC is the ride that most guests would use Ride Express on during peak period yet its one of the only rides that you cannot use ride express on. 

Vintage Cars was running with only three cars, making it a 30 mins wait. 

Vintage cars only running 3 cars is pretty bad

Yeah vintage was only running 3 on Sunday too, and the same a week prior.

Gingy’s Gliders has returned looking fresh and like it’s had its 10 year full strip down and fully repainted. 

Carousel is still mostly missing and off-site.

Dronkey  flyers have returned

Tower of terror tunnel coming down very quickly 

Lots of demo happening in the park yesterday and over the last week. The log ride sign was thrown in the bin while I was there. Few logs remain and theming left to the side but the site is pretty much all flat and lots of earth being brought in.
