Based off what’s been built so far, it definitely seems like a memorial space. And I think it makes sense based off where it’s located too. It’s in a quieter area of the park, some what hidden so it isn’t super obvious and on display to everyone. It isn’t too close to the incident area (because otherwise it could be seen as, this happened here but now we’ve got a massive coaster), but also not too far away that it doesn’t make sense

Whilst true for now, it’s also next to the prime future development land for the park. 

A friend sent me this - this is a photographer that works for the park. What if it is a farmyard they are building?

They already have a farmyard section, it’s in the shearing shed so it’s just been closed

what better opportunity to build an outdoor\open air version where they can reopen that experience to people without needing pesky indoor room limits then?

Sure. Dreamworld are yet to take any notice of indoor capacity limits to this point, maybe they are planning on starting to?

100% why I thought it might be the memorial garden. Could be wrong. 

Usually, these things are off a path and look somewhat secluded to allow for piece and quiet as previously mentioned.

its such a shame the gold coast council PDonline system is such a shitshow these days - depending on what they're putting in there may be some lodgments filed with them.

Gold Coast Council PDonline is about 3 months behind at the moment.   Busy, busy, busy.

There are quite a few areas in the park that look temporary, but they very much aren’t

And these battens have appeared on the side of the spaghetti walkways. I imagine this is too tidy the look of them up

My take on these is more 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain' and they're just walling off the now abandoned areas of the park, just as they did with Trolls Village.

My take on this - Ardent have shares in BlueScope steel.
