Can't really remember well but booking leave anytime from the 5th to the 20th should be safe enough. I forgot from last year, but could anyone remember if it was on during weekdays too?

They added extra days last year as a result of  huge demand but if lockdowns are still in place there won’t be weekday nights added this year.

The huge demand was due to restricted ticket sales for each day, so possible to happen again also.

Being honest, I guess we can't all just assume that Christmas events will be held in december. There is precedent on the West Coast of running Halloween events 6 months away from October...

Either weekends plus as many other days as demand will allow in December, or it'll be Mondays in February

I’ve booked from the 4th to the 21st so should be sweet

 

by then hopefully majority of the population will be vaccinated and getting somewhat back to normal

This is the new normal for years to come. Get used to it. 

My Pfizer vaccination was meant to be in august but now it's not till January so no i don't think the majority will be getting vaccinated for quite a long time.

Wow that is a delay…… majority of people at work…..500+ have had both of their Pfizer vaccines already

Fully expect 12th, 19th, 23rd, 24th to open up on later dates too, as they start to sell out.

I could be wrong, but i don't believe they run on Christmas Eve.

In the past, they've usually held the events mainly on friday and saturday nights. 

White Christmas began in earnest in 2010. Christmas eve was a friday that year, but it was the first year and wasn't massively taken up as I believe free entry only extended to VIP Gold passholders. 

Likewise 2011 - christmas eve was on a saturday, but again, the event was in its infancy and wasn't the multiple night sellout we've seen the past few years. There is quite a lot of pent up demand for local entertainment for some reason?

The next Saturday christmas eve opportunity was 2016 - and interestingly they did add additional nights including thursday 23rd, but not christmas eve. 

So, there isn't a precedent, but I think this event has matured somewhat, and this will be the first 'friday night' christmas eve since the event began. We also need to keep in mind that they like to host corporate christmas parties on nights the park isn't running WC, so some nights will stay cleared for that reason too.

(Sidenote, my googling took me to an OurWorlds video on White Christmas for 2016, and while I love the sentiments expressed in the video, i'm VERY thankful audio recording equipment for digital environments have improved! [also 🍺])

Good to see the buffet is back this year, but hell the prices have jumped.

$72 for adults and $38 for kids. 

Yes you get a free beer/wine on arrival, but a lot of people don’t drink and it includes unlimited soft drink already. 

everyone getting a dc character Xmas hat also isn’t too appealing. 

I guess it may keep numbers down which will allow it to be managed more easily, just disappointing imo

Yeah, finding it hard to justify the cost this year, especially considering there isn't even details of the main food.

Seeing as Spooky Nights buffet included a drink on arrival and was around the $45 mark for Adults and $25 for kids, only way I can see the price increase is the hat.
