  1. Nope. There's a fair number of guests in the park on any given day that do not understand English and they should be welcomed.

  3. DW also reached out to a Psych to be on-site in case it was too much for Kim and she needed someone to talk to. They were very accommodating

  4. Seriously...? Any more wondering and you’ll get a headache. Im sure management would have greeted her, and then given her space, but offered and ensured they were on hand if she required anything.

  5. People read the signs. They just choose to ignore them.

  6. Because so many people can't read the signs that are very clearly posted everywhere saying "Do not climb, sit or swing on queue rails or chains". Perhaps a mandatory lesson in reading basic English should be a requirement prior to being allowed on the ride?

  7. Went through some past photos, and comparing the new vs old paint job, it now looks so much better and much more fitting with the castle Holefully they plan to pressure clean the extended queue floor and path areas around it, because they really need it. And hopefully they also replaced/fix all of the queue railings, especially inside. Because a lot of them just fall over when slightly touched

  8. That building has 100% been repainted, it used to be a cream color with a orange / brown color around the posters. I guess it goes with the theme but if they are keeping the outside of the building the same I think the old color scheme looked nicer.

  11. Have witnessed first hand 2 stoppages on Splash. One I came part way through and waited out about a half our restart, the second it was down probably 45-1hour. They don't always evac though, they will try and restart if possible. Space will cascade stop regularly. Takes about 1/2 hour to cycle out the ride as they attend each brake zone 1 by 1 in turn and release brakes and cycle out cars to evac.

  12. I think you might be looking at version 1 - there's a reworked version 2 I've posted which includes BGW. SFGA just isn't going to work into the plans for this trip though I agree it's a great park and I'm well overdue for another visit as my last was in 2013. As someone mentioned earlier, the hard thing with USA is that there's always something awesome that's just a little bit further so there's always going to be something you have to skip. Tour B will have an optional Houston & San Antonio portion after finishing at SFOT that will be discussed once I get an idea of numbers, I'm trying to keep the tours to a reasonable length each as not everyone can get away from work for such a long time. As it stands at the moment, Tour A is looking to be 13 Days and Tour B 14 Days, and I feel that adding an extra 3 (or 4) days onto the end of Tour B would just make it too long for many people to get off work, particularly factoring in that 2-3 days of travel is required from AU/NZ. Regarding ERT - I'm not promising anything, I will be trying but I need an idea of group size first so I have something to take to the parks. If I can get some ERT, I don't expect it would be TPR level but fingers crossed I can get at least something... I've been emailing with my contact in the USA again today, she is just waiting on confirmation from one bus company who was after clarification regarding some travel routes and times I requested - my contact is hoping to send me what will hopefully be much more reasonable pricing in the next few days. As noted in one of my earlier posts, everything needs to be run via admin first but once I get admin approval happy to share more details and pricing.

  13. Okay, I've talked to a couple of my contacts who work at DW and they have told me the details around this segment. Sunday Night/Channel 7 reached out to the park outlining what their plans were, including bringing Kim through the park. The park was more than happy to allow Kim and the Sunday Night team to visit the park because Kim was involved. If it was just Channel 7 trying to bash the park again, they most likely wouldn't have been allowed. They were brought into the park 1-2 hours before opening and continued filming once the park was open. Kim left after the walkaround with her was done and the Sunday Night crew stayed to film the last of whatever the needed. The entire time they were chaperoned around the park by management. Any further questions?

  14. Rode a flying theatre a few weeks ago at Ferrari Land in Barcelona. Loved it. Was incredible. Glad one is finally getting the go ahead in Australia. Hopefully it’s done well with a great film.

  15. The castle is undergoing a repaint. You can really see the difference in the last photo. And the rides information and safety board is gone too.

  17. Do you know if they had any contact with her when she arrived, like I just wonder what they would say or how they would deal with it. I just wonder if they spoke to her and what they said.

  18. Oh my god would you just shut up??? Everything you are saying is a theory, a guess, or a presumption, but you present them as fact. You say 'No' You say 'they would've known' But unless you work for the park, you have no proof, unless you can produce something else that confirms or endorses what you are saying. So instead of just trying to blindly defend your position, accept the possibility that you could be wrong, or, the person replying to you could be wrong, and leave it at that? You've had several opportunities now to clarify your position, but you just keep presenting more and more opinion as fact without substance.
