  1. Early slow ticket sales, might have been caused by people waiting to see what the weather will do. The start of this year has been super shitty for me, so I have decided to start 2024 from today.
  2. Superman was shut down for the same time last year. Even Aussie World do the standard 4 week maintenance period. (The same standard MW once did before 22,23 & 24. Maintenance has been extended on most rides, if not all) Make whatever excuses you want, but the facts are, maintenance periods have doubled on all major rides and smaller rides have also increased.
  3. The food quality from MW carnival to SW carnival:
  4. It's MW's save a buck policy. You are saving a lot of money if you shut each ride down for 4 extra weeks a year.
  5. I know you know but for others it's not being moved. It's a new ride bearing a similar name. It doesn't have to be torn down for the new ride to be built so it should still have 10 months in it.
  6. Last year was underwhelming so why would you go back?
  7. I haven't seen any of the movies so are you telling I shouldn't ride because it won't make sense.? @aaronm
  8. @TricoartI think you are missing the point of what I said. You said, Seeing as there’s no exact direct comparison. You are right, there is no direct comparison so as I said, It is always hard to judge, if this statement is true. Without an direct comparison, all you can do, is guess what the Thunderbolt would cost today.
  9. Doubling it is just pulling a number out of your bum, bum.
  10. Inflation for a coaster, is not the same as inflation for a loaf of bread @Tricoart
  11. Yes, I can read. People will fall for the marketing spin. If DW was to build the Thunderbolt today, what would it cost? Every year prices move upwards, so every major ride DW build, from now on, will be DW's largest ever investment.
  12. Looks like you're firing blanks. Bikash was under attack and was here defending himself as Bikash.
  13. I sound like a broken record player No! keep going. We love reading the same shit, over and over.
  14. “Jungle Rush will be Dreamworld’s largest-ever investment in a single attraction, so it really is one for the record books.” It is always hard to judge, if this statement is true. MW/SW should take some tips from DW, on how to promote a ride.
  15. It should look great as long as it doesn't look like it was built in a Ikea factory, and put together with an Allen key.
  16. So if the link ever gets broken. Jungle Rush, manufactured by rollercoaster giant, Vekoma, is set to be the first of its kind in Australia, with the ride design supporting multiple different cycle paths. This has never been seen before in Australia and is only the first of a series of ground-breaking features being offered in the new precinct. Today marks a momentous occasion as Dreamworld officially begins construction on its highly anticipated Rivertown precinct, following months of demolition and site preparations. Rivertown is destined to become the most thematic and experiential land ever delivered by the iconic Gold Coast theme park. Rivertown is set to redefine family entertainment with a spectacular array of attractions, featuring the centrepiece ride, Jungle Rush – a thrilling new family rollercoaster that promises to be an immersive adventure for visitors of all ages. This, along with a host of other attractions, contributes to Rivertown's commitment to providing a brand-new theme park experience for families. (Jaggs Jouneys)
  17. So it's nothing like a mine train coaster. 😂 And you got clickbaited @Vidgamer
  18. Jungle Coaster track arriving or first footing being poured for new coaster. Feels like Golden Years are chasing views.
