Despite the hiccups earlier in the week, it seems they’ve managed to get everything back open that wasn’t already closed

DC Rivals doesnt have a height limit either, but I believe there are some minor differences between its train and Steel Taipan’s.

The park did share this video on their socials, which gives an up close look at the slides. Not much of a drop, but looks like they’ll pick up some good speed. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DROpjcHEonn/?igsh=MXA3Z2tpYXdlaXl3bg==

Staff got to ride King Claw today

It might not be the last thing thats done as guests are sitting down, but to my understanding it’s part of the boarding process. So maybe there’s are loading/boarding area, where people wait and go through metal detection while the ride is cycling. Therefore that wouldn’t slow down the boarding process and keeps things as efficient and safe as possible.

Interestingly MW and SW are from $99, but WnW is from $109. But MW and SW pricing goes up to $139, while WnW is up to $124. WnW always used to have lowest pricing, but now they’ve made it the most expensive (during off peak periods). This is probably to compensate for the park not getting the crowds it needs during Winter.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we see technical rehearsals begin within the next week (maybe even this weekend) and the ride officially opening the first week of December.

King Claw will feature metal detectors as guest board the ride to ensure no one has any loose items in their pockets. There is a storage carousel for all loose articles, which rotates to keep the flow of loading and unloading as efficient as possible.

On the website there’s a section titled ‘meet the dolphins’ and there are only 3. I haven’t seen the dolphin show in at least a decade, but didn’t there used to be up to 10? How many were there in the final Affinity shows?

The performer who played Mad Mike in Police Academy for 15 years, Michael Bennett, has been confirmed to be returning to the park this Summer to be part of the new stunt show as the warm-up artist. Hopefully this news means the arena show is going back to its roots and is closer to the style of Police Academy than of what HSD2 became.

Batwing is now also closed for unscheduled maintenance

The park has constructed a new tree kangaroo exhibit alongside the pathway between the kangaroos and cassowary. They used to be in quite a small habitat within the aviary (which is also no longer an aviary). Photo posted by Jaggs Journey.

King Claw’s height requirements are 130-195cm. The minimum height requirement is 10cm higher than The Claw’s.

Dreamworld have updated the park map on their website to include a numbering system and park info

The Green Room was supposed to reopen at the end of October, it was delayed a couple weeks and was meant to reopen today, but it’s been delayed until December 13.

Coincidentally I’m in Sydney at the moment, so I went and checked out the ride in person and this is its current status.

But you’d think that as this is their 4th new attraction to open since TRRR they would have worked it all out. It seemed that the wild mouse didn’t have as many delays, but they struggle with the flat rides

For WWW I want to see them get a lazy river, ProSlide’s TornadoWAVE, a Proslide Mammoth and another tower of body slides. I think those would really complete their lineup and add something for everyone. For DW, a high thrill lift hill coaster on the rocky hollow site, an Intamin or Mack water based attraction to replace Motocoaster (tied into Rivertown theme), and a couple rides to fill in the void/mess of the back of Ocean Parade.

Or it will be open during the event, but they don’t want to yet give away when it’s reopening. If Scooby is open during the event, that will essentially be all you’ll have time to do because I’m sure the queue will be very very long.

There certainly is, we just don't know it yet!

@New display name if the park not being open is that big of an issue to you, maybe you should write to the park directly and expression your concern.

The Leviathan backwards seat is now free
