    That’s basically Luna park Sydney. They added a bunch of modern brand spanking attractions but they still have to leave that main house bit intact aka Luna face, Coney Island fun house, Big Dipper building, ect and the wild mouse is part of the house bit that has to be left intact in some way.

    This topic can probably be locked up if you want. The only confirmed news we have is the wild mouse is under maintenance and it’s heritage listed. In my opinion nothing can replace it I really really hope it stays. Being one of the last remaining rides of its kind and Luna park being a historic theme park it needs a historic coaster too. The wild mouse is why In my books Luna park S is better then adventure world. (Even though adventure world has better rides nothing can beat vintage coasters. Imo)

    Yeah I think old movieworld was better quality but no body is coming out from other countries to see what it had to offer. Because you wouldn’t be able to see what it had until you were at the park . Though I do miss when MW, SW and DW all felt super unique from each other. They have all kinda morphed into similar experiences in some ways. Once WoO is in. movieworld basically has no space left. I wonder what is going to happen then. Either years and years till anything gets added or something will get the axe

    It might not have been the train was the problem but something was and it needed extra bracing. He seemed very legit . I can’t remember if he said the train was the main problem I kinda zoned out but the rest is quote Your right I was more sorry for all of us who had to wait so long.. I don’t know if it was “sinking” but if the fact the footers were under built the first time it would make sense that’s where the rumour came from

    Isn’t leviathans head directly attached to the front seats? Not it’s own pivot if you know what I mean. Like is it arrow style with the nose cone built in or B&M style with the nose cone moving separately

    On that same reddit forum I saw more comments saying “no this is fake it’s reopening later this year” so I wouldn’t take it as fact but it is interesting 1 scenic Railway 2 wild mouse 3 sapphire speed coaster 4 gold coaster 5 road runner

    Not sure this is the right topic but I thought I would mention at seaworld a few days ago while lining up for leviathan I was talking to this guy in line and he had been contracted to work on the structure for leviathan! He said while building it they ran into a big problem that the trains ended up being heavier then they predicted and were to harsh on the structure so they had to add metal bracing to help but the extra weight from the steal was to much for the footers so they had to one by one rebuild every footer he said it was an absolute nightmare but the footers were just not capable of the extra load from the steal bracing this impacted the queue line in some places too. He pointed out where they had to completely rebuild some areas it was actually really interesting it was his first time riding it and he loved the ride but I felt sorry for his and everyone else involved it sounded like a nightmare. I thought it was weird they wouldn’t have realised the trains were heavier then the standard ones but he made it seem like Gravity Group supplied the design and trains while another company from Australia actually put the thing together.

    I agree it’s a major attraction that will probably be around for a while. This is a good chance to get the classic ocean parade theme back. It would be more effort but removing the snake as a whole and replacing it with something simple like theme the ride to some crazy octopus rampaging the beach. Theme the carts to beach buggy’s just remove the cart wheel and add car wheels and your done. I know it’s an unoriginal theme but I think that’s what OP needs right now. Call it….. FROTHING!

    I really hope they can keep it. LPS would get into AW class without it. I have not had the opportunity to go to LPS yet but it’s a lot more inviting with the WWM and BD3. I think they are both basically the only of their kind rn so it’s a very unique fleet of coasters. (I know there’s 2 other WWM’s but they are hard to get to) I hope LPS can get it sorted and back operating. out of curiosity what are Australia’s top 5 oldest still operating coasters? I should just check the rcdb but I can’t be bothered

    I heard Luna park Sydney’s wild mouse has not operated since august but I didn’t really think twice that it wouldn’t open up again. That was until I saw this post on reddit. I had a search around and sure enough there’s a lot of rumours going around that the wood mouse might not ever reopen. The park has said nothing about it but I thought it deserves a topic for it. What do you guys think.

    Just wish the carts were given ones shells or at least replace the cart wheels with water jets or turbines

    Yeah not sure what happened there I can’t delete it now. btw when I went to the park seaworld on jan 31st there was no where in park to buy tickets for Levi backwards. I went to the photo lab to ask and they said the only way to buy backwards is on the app. So me and my friend went on the app to buy the tickets but when we tried to pay it just said “unable to purchase” or something like that. It happened to both of us. There really should be a way to buy backwards in the park without going through the app. Or at least make the app purchase easy to find and actually go through

    I mean when they said tilted turn table I thought a classic turning circle with track attached but when I saw the concept art I still just thought turn table so I don’t think it matters to much

    Every time I ride I have to take my phone in my pocket on the ride. I even asked if I could leave my phone in the tray but the OP said no. Even thought the person a few spots in front got their phone put in the tray? I guess it depends what the op feels like doing at the time? Hmm the video title has “worst park” in it. Maybe taking advice from the best worst park is not the best idea..

    I think since SE is the main attraction your don’t want the half pipe taking away the spot light but instead you want the half pipe to add to what’s already there to make SE stand out more not hide it. I think painting the half pipe just all black could be cool. The blue of se supports and the blue of surf rider might clash not build each other up. The half pipe just needs a subtle color imo . Excuse the last minute RCT example . What dc character has the color black? Or maybe it could be themed to some machine that created the earth quake

    How thick is the wall in between the unload and load station? Could they punch a hole in it and install double sided box’s like what jet rescue has?
