Sea Worlds 2022 Maintenance schedule has finally been uploaded, and next year there is some welcome changes to the usual maintenance schedule:

- most welcomed change, Storm Coaster has been changed to a winter maintenance schedule. 

- all rides in close proximity to the New Atlantis construction side have normal maintenance periods, hopefully meaning work will start being finalised soon. 

- Except for the Polar Bear shores, none of the other Animal Enclosures have been uploaded, guessing they have not been finalised yet 

 

That’s great to see they have finally fixed the maintenance situation for storm. That was needed since the ride opened 9 years ago, but at least they’ve finally done it. 

There were some unusual closures in the past 12 months and i'm pretty sure we discussed whether the additional time for the wet rides meant a reliagnment to wintertime. good to see that's happening as I believe West also had the same\similar change?

I wonder if these rides are actually having issues or if they have been closed possibly due to trident being installed as they are both in close proximity to the ride site? 

With the current winds, I don’t think they’ll be installing anything right now. And it’s still holidays for most of the construction industry. We won’t see trident installation begin from the end of the month at the earliest 

Their carousel will be closed for most of the year 

The Nickelodeon Land rides will be reopening alongside the opening of Leviathan 

Does that mean they reopen on the 1st, or is that the last day of maintenance? How do VRTP usually do it?

The end date given is the final day of closure
