IMO rides that people had the ability to ride, especially the ones people had the ability to ride rather recently, should be considered fair game. It’d start to get a bit murky when you go pre-Bush Beast, tho.

Big Dipper 1 V Bush Beast?

My pop rode Big Dipper 1 in Sydney. I never got to but from photos Big Dipper looked like a cool ride. With the placement. Both the Victoria and Sydney big dippers had great stops. Bush beast being newer was probably more thrilling but I wouldn’t underestimate Big Dipper 1 so my vote would be for BD1

I think rides like TOT2 and MW’s SLC can compete but even rides like corkscrew/sea viper is pushing it a bit

And the results have came in. Motocoaster has been absolutely smashed by Jet Rescue with 35-2. Not a good look for Dreamworld with 3/4 coasters turned into scrap metal. Boomerang wins automatically due to a rule change being made. Also, we will be going back to a 1 vote poll due to popular demand.

P.S I have no idea what to compare Gold Coaster to (was going to compare it to Saphire Speed Coaster or DC Rivals but have no idea) if you could give me some ideas of what to compare it to that would be great (you cannot compare GC to coasters that have been in previous polls btw)

Gold coaster best compares with green lantern but that’s been in a poll.  You could compare it with corkscrew or demon or maybe Arkham Asylum.  Maybe you could compare it with a flat ride like vortex.

Yes that is the rule, SBNO and demolished rides are not counted. I used to allow under construction rides but they are not allowed anymore.

That list makes a lot of sense to me. But scooby could be vs storm (themed rides with similar thrill levels)  and the green valley single rail vs dingo racer. (Both family owned parks.) they don’t have much at all in common but it seems the most fair to me. I would pick green valley coaster for the uniqueness (sorry dingo) 

 

anyone who has done GL and AB which is better? I have always though based on photos AB at AW was better but maybe not.
