This is great to see. Sky voyager is a great ride it deserves more shows. Plus it’s a not to costly way of basically adding a new ride

If you took out the bags out from under the big screen in the queue and changed some of the lighting and visuals it wouldn't look that out of place as an aquarium. 

You are right @Guest 239.  DW could replace the baggage with a temporary aquarium.

Unless whales live on land these days, it looks underwater.  Might be a submarine adventure.

A couple of 'water projectors' in the queue area that they turn on when running the underwater program would be a really nice touch though.

I think you're on the money.

A few years back during Winterfest they had a short Winter film on, it played from about 11-3 and the Australian film played outside of those times, so i assume that is what will happen.

 

Having a look around Brogent's website it looks like a aquarium experience normally used on their 'Q Ride' system (the fish line up)

The manufacture of SV, Brogent Tecnologies, have been dabbling with under water experiences..

 

The photos shows virtual goggles with a Brogent ride system, maybe this is happening.

Lord help us if they are introducing VR goggles… lucky to get through 2-3 cycles an hour… 

Why would they add VR on a ride with a massive expensive screen?

I can't think of any ride doing loading worse than SV.   A couple of weeks ago my wife was on SV when the ride was stopped halfway through the experience because somebody pulled out a phone. My wife said, when they restarted the checking, people were asking "can we not just get off".😂

That's the exact movie being used for the advertising of their 'Q-Ride' system, and it can be found on Brogent's Digital Media/CGI Content page alongside 2 other movies they've made for VR (https://www.brogent.com/en/digitalmedia.html?cid=2). So, best case scenario, they're repurposing a VR/CGI movie to work with Sky Voyager's fixed screen for a limited time. Worst case scenario, they're stuck in the 2010's and have actually decided to retrofit SV to have VR. Really hoping it's the former.
