i’ve also noticed Wild West Falls is no longer open this year, neither are the wizard of oz coasters, meaning only 5 attractions will be open this year.

it is now I think cause superman is closed.

@DaptoFunlandGuy I agree, but that still doesn’t give them a pass on painting large walls a solid green or making your queue area an unshaded cattle pen. It just demonstrates a lack of care or effort.

DCeased is the worst maze I have ever walked through, and I'm not just counting MW mazes.  I would rather Dapto kick me in the jiggly gems, then experience that maze again.

The only benefit of FOWW at FN is not having to queue in the sun.

It's a decent detour away from everything to only land in the ride with the slowest operations in the park. I feel sorry for anyone visiting for the first time on FN's who makes the decision to head into Oz.

Batman Exhibit I agree with for Fright Nights, I don't think its a necessity to the offering.

However I agree with the view that all other primary attractions should be on offer to manage the guest experience. At the end of the event its all going to contribute to what the average guest perceives the value to be. The ability to quantify the number of rides, experiences and shows on a visit to the parks is often a go to metric for the average guest when considering "value for money". Which I'm sure would heavily impact the NPS score for the event.

imo Krypt of Kane is one of the best mazes they have done in a long time. both new mazes are very detailed (and feel quite long), but it is time for them to get rid of the three returning mazes. next year has the potential to be a very strong maze lineup, if they keep up the detail seen in both mazes and the scares seen in Kane for the 3 replacements. i’d rate the mazes;

Krypt of Kane: 10/10

Eternal Dark: 4/10

DCeased: 3/10 (points because it’s such nicely detailed maze)

Circurse: 5/10

Hellship: 4/10

It's one of the rare occasions where you'll get to see it lit with all the lighting they installed

they spent a bunch of cashish on oz and wild west so they could have them open for the night events so would be very odd if they werent open

For those who attended opening night - where are each of the mazes located? MW has decided not to put that info on the website or app versions of the park map, nor listed it on the individual maze pages on the website.

trying to plan our movements for the night in advance to get the most out of it (when visiting with interstate friends who also want to get on some rides)

Assuming DCeased is still in the old arcade/dodgems - are the other 4 all in the 2 sheds out the back of West?

DCeased is in Intencity, the other 4 are up the back behind West.

You can get to it through Wizard of Oz or West.

Long time listener, first time caller.

Gave FN my first ever visit last night, enjoyed it. Partner and I loved the photo ops with the exorcist scene in particular.

only ride I was able to get on was WWF as DC Rivals queue was massive and by the time I’d got around to deciding to wait for it, they’d shut the queue (around 9:30) , which I wasn’t aware would happen. Probably just a FN noob mistake.

my only question is, does anybody think that space between WWF and WOZ where they located the mazes would ever be developed into a precinct to form a full circuit around MW, or is that back area from Doomsday onwards forever doomed to be a bit of a dead spot?

On Doomsday though, I went on the day and saw the area for the first time since the ride had been pulled out. Geez it looks sad. I wish they’d at least used the vacant area to for something FN related not just leave the skeleton of the precinct sitting there. Also, how longs Captain Cold been gone from the top of the truck? :(
