Spotty can draw a layout too if he wants to. He was a pretty big fan of Bermuda as I recall.

IMO Bermuda was one of Australia's best themed attractions, and was a ride that would never get old and could be enjoyed by families of all ages (Pre Jet Rescue Days) However, it was disgusting to see how it was left to rot so to speak in the months before closing...

Does anyone know what's becoming of these rides are they just going to sit there for another year? The 'has been closed to make way for an exciting new attraction' has been removed from both Bermuda Triangle and Looney Toons river ride

My thoughts from the Lethal Weapon thread:

Looney Tunes River Ride's replacement probably won't be announced until March/April 2013. That is when Village plan to announce a "significant capital investment". I'm expecting Bermuda to be replaced at around the same time.

However, as of last week, the "New Attraction Coming Soon" circle was still on the Sea World park map.

So realistically we won't be seeing either of the rides replaced and opened until late-2013, it really frustrates me just seeing these buildings both empty but I'm sure we'll see amazing attractions for 2013, although it will mean both buildings haven't been used for 2-3 years which is disappointing Poor Bermuda must have a lot of spiders in it, that area of sea world is very quiet and it's so ugly looking at it all rusted and destroyed(not that it looked any better in 2010), I have heard it is completly gutted inside though, I would assume that the river ride would be the same

Where did you here it was completely gutted. There has been nothing happening at or around these buildings since they closed. I was just roaming the internet and I found out that the opening date was the 31st of March 1994. I am thinking that they could be holding off until the 31st of March 2014(It's 20th anniversary) until they open they new ride. This would be absolutely terrible if they did but that could mean they would be able to work on creating the worlds best themed dark ride or attraction!

worlds best themed dark ride or attraction!

Cough Cough. I highly doubt they would have enough money to beat Universal who currently has what is believed by many to have the worlds best dark ride. They could possible make it Australia's best dark ride but that wouldn't be much of a challenge at the moment.

Movie World commented about the "Looney Tunes River Ride" on their Facebook page in repsonse to someone asking about it, they stated - "Dont worry it will be replaced one day with something even better - if thats possible" and "No offical word yet on what will replace it"

I thought I would restart some conversation in this thread as the Dino island thread is not the correct thread to post it in. So it seems that form what people are saying Bermuda Triangle is being gutted as we speak and a replacement may be on the way soon. Anyone got anymore to add?
