Pics from this morning. No change for the DD, but they are working on the theming :)

Well, for me, that puts to rest any question about the background. The cityscape blends in really well in that photo, even more so if they end up putting something up between the scooby doo building and the show stage. Just seems to peek out from between structures which is brilliant.

I took this on Friday while I was there for their birthday. Seats attached. At their lowest point they seem to be below ground level.

Booth barely in the pic on the left, definitely not the right colour. My guess is it's just an undercoat.

Doomsday.jpg

go back two pages, I already posted that the seats were attached, the ride looks great doesn't it?, I'm really hoping I can go tomorrow and check it out :)

I just think it would need to drop down for the same reason the claw has a drop down floor. So taller riders who's feet do or almost touch the ground won't be injured when swinging through the station.

However Ranger/Kamikaze rides don't have retractable floors and this is Intamin's version of one of these rides.

On the Kamikaze / Ranger your enclosed so there is no way your feet will hit the ground. On the HangOver (Modified Kamikaze with floorless cars) however the floor slides away to the side to prevent you hitting the platforms.

So photos from TTPSN. I do hope they do something with that Show Stage sign. I did here that it was going to be removed and replaced with a DD sign later. I hope thats true.

Im I the only one who hopes they put some more of the city background stuff onto the white building that has the scooby Doo sign and for them to find a way to continue that background wrap to the SDSC ride building so all the white building and gaps are covered and it that gap between the two tall buildings invisible. By doing this it will hid the massive side area of the main shed. What they would need to do is build a wall going from one building to the other and then put the wrap on it.

Great pictures @Theme Park Girl! I'm glad steel frames for more facades are starting to appear in the blank areas.

Honestly, they've done such an amazing job with great level of detail. I really hope they finish it off well and add some interactive elements to the city buildings.

Perhaps down the track they could remove the Gotham City Cafe and add something else there, because we've got such a great DC Comics area now and a bit of variety can only help the park.

It looks like they are in the process of putting a wall with the building background sticker between the two building to cover that gap. Hopefully it goes higher to cover the white big sheds side and continues to cover the SDSC sign area. It looks like it will go higher as the building in the picture is cut off and looks like it continues.
