Introducing blindfolds for when you're riding the train, that way you don't know when you'll get held up. You won't be able to see it happening either but you're not missing much.

So they are only going to do the show every second time the train comes through or is this the new timetable for the train as well?

i though the train departs Main Street every 30 minutes?

Great start for the bush ranger show, all sessions past 3 were cancelled and a lot of people got off the train and we’re sour about it

Nope, went too get footage so we could all see it, was on the train and at billabong station they announced it was shut. One of the bush rangers walking around said the sound isn’t working.

Hopefully it’s not just what was shown on DWs instagram, which was 2 guys, 2 tents (literally just white sheets over some branches) and a fake fireplace, set right in front of the perimeter fence of MDMC - not even in the bush!

I believe it wasn't because that was uploaded after the announcement it was cancelled and I think DW just sent the rangers down their to just muck around to replace the show. HOWEVER, I believe the props that were there are the props that are actually being used in the show.

 

Also, I forgot to post this in a new topic so can a mod start a new topic for the show because it's no longer speculation or a mystery attraction.

Definitely a poor choice of location to do it in, right in front of MDMC

How embarrassing. 

 

Not only does it not thematically fit, but the noise from TOT, GD and MDMC (the second 2 not as much) would hinder the audiences ability to hear what is going on. This is Dreamworld, and I wouldn't expect them to have a decent Audio system for this.

Hahahhaha, love the costumes😂 these are the ones that used to be worn for the show in gold rush like 2 or 3 years ago!

The actual show takes place at the rhlr station not at that tent outside mdmc.

So what purpose does the tent outside the motocoaster serve ?

The tent is just where the bushrangers are camping out waiting for the train to arrive at the station to hold it up.

The key focus is on driving attendance back to historic levels through a combinationof “smart” capital investment, an event pipeline, developing new and unique attractions and food, retail and events products all of which provide opportunities to promote and target revisitation. Investments will be targeted to drive visitation and will be economically responsible. This includes plans to install major new attractions at Dreamworld and SkyPoint in FY19 to increase visitations to the Theme Parks and drive average spending.

 

The excess land that sits around the Dreamworld site is potentially of value. The park occupies just over 50% of the land that is owned and a process of determining the best use of this land is in progress. This may include a build out of tourist related adjacencies around the park itself. The plan may also involve anelement of other commercial and residential uses.
