Train is scheduled to arrive next week. Testing will begin by late August. As @DaptoFunlandGuy said, they will get the theming done first and get most things that are on the coaster route done first. Then areas like the queue, paths, landscaping, theming, signage, etc will be done 

The fenced off area in the car park has been reduced 

Framing is going up for the rockwork

 

 

The fencing between BuzzSaw and Steel Taipan has started to be removed

Looks like it will have a head chopper effect on the tunnel which is new for dreamworld since i'm pretty sure they've never had a head chopper before on a roller coaster. Excited to see if it will be good.

The TOT II tunnel was definitely quite the head chopper..

I never though ToT's tunnel was a head chopper for some reason. Maybe because you'd just come out of the tunnel a few seconds ago, or maybe because the turn was so gradual but never really was a thing for me. The only head chopper of any real note I can think of on the Gold Coast was Corkscrew's dive under the monorail.

I mean I guess it depends on what you consider 'of real note'. 

I've always regarded the camera bridge on BigCycWheelCoaster between the corkscrew and the loop to 'feel' pretty close because of the angles between the two elements. Definitely not CorkViper's level of close under the monorail but still pretty close.

I’m surprised the S isn’t a snake. 

I’d say because the S stands for Steel not Snake. And in the ride logo on the website, the word Taipan has has the snake tooth/bite reference

I must say - I find the "logo" to be quite 'yawn' if i'm honest. I did manage to find their early design drafts for it though...

 

Logo looks great IMO. Sleek, simple and suits the name.
